The Pellet is an ammunition type, used in the Pellet Gun. It could be purchased from Wolfman for 10 Reputation each.

As of Update:Alpha 7.0, pellets can still rarely be found on corpses. They no longer have a use outside of being sellable for a tiny amount of Reputation a piece.

Two guaranteed Pellets can be found in a code-locked crate in Wolfman's Camp in the Silent Forest. The code to this crate cannot be obtained by legitimate means, though.
