Tahb is a non-playable character who appears in Breath of Fire IV. He is the leader of the Purifiers, a group of individuals who wear protective armor in their efforts to cleanse Chamba from the lasting effects of the Hex.

Upon learning that Tahb is the leader of the Purifiers, the party asks him if any of the Purifiers' members would be willing to guide them through the hexed portion of Chamba. While Tahb isn't willing to assign any of the Purifiers to the task, he says that the party is welcome to ask around to see if any of them will volunteer. When none of them prove willing to, he admits that he's not surprised. Fortunately for the party, Ershin arrives in town at this exact point and proves eager to guide the party.
