Way Bads[captions 1][CN 1][OV2 1] (alternatively spelled as Waybads[ms 1] or Way-bads)[DVD 1] are a group of mutated To'kustars created by Dr. Psychobos.
Appearance
Way Bads have the basic structure of any other To'kustar, but their skin colors are either a combination of gray and red, or gray and purple with black markings on their lower arms. Way Bads also have red eyes. They wear outfits and armor that vary almost entirely from Way Bad to Way Bad, and unlike a pure To'kustar such as Way Big, the random nature Psychobos' mutation means that some have more reptilian appearances, blades in varying places, and some of them are skeletal, have bones showing, or have bizarre scars. One of them had large red bulbs over most of its body.

Behavior
Unlike normal To'kustars, who are normally benevolent and calm, Way Bads are feral without Dr. Psychobos' control, destroying everything in their sight.
History
Omniverse
Way Bads were created by Dr. Psychobos from To'kustar DNA,[DJW 1] but due to their feral nature, he controlled them using the mind control serum he developed on Revonnah.
The Way Bads first appear in The Frogs of War: Part 1 in Bellwood. They were going across other parts of the Earth assuring the Incurseans' rule.[2]
In The Frogs of War: Part 2, Ben and the Plumbers managed to break Psychobos' control over the Way Bads, causing them to go on a rampage. Fortunately, they managed to transport all of the Way Bads to the Null Void.
In Weapon XI: Part 2, Ben, Gwen, Rook, Zed and Argit encountered several Way Bads in the Null Void. Gutrot created a pheromone to attract them to the Rooters' base and prove instrumental to their ultimate downfall. After the Rooters are stranded in the Null Void, a Way Bad is shown confronting the disgraced Plumbers.
In The Most Dangerous Game Show, female Way Bads attacked the trapped contestants of Charles Zenith's game.
Powers and Abilities
Way Bads are able to shoot a powerful cosmic ray by crossing their arms together.[3]
Due to their immense size, Way Bads are very strong, being able to effortlessly rip the head off the Statue of Liberty.[3]
Way Bads have massive strides, so they can get to their destination quicker than most smaller aliens.[4]
Way Bads have a very loud, powerful roar.[4]
Weaknesses
Way Bads can be harmed by Argit's quills.[3]
Way Bads can be mind controlled by a machine controlled by Dr. Psychobos after being exposed to his Ogia Concentrate. They can also be attracted by specially made pheromones created by Gutrot.[4]
Way Bads can be harmed by high-pitched noises, such as a Sonorosian's sonic screams, if they were to get close enough to their ears.[DJW 2] This weakness was first referenced when Shocksquatch made an unsuccessful attempt at attacking a Way Bad using a megaphone made from Echo Echo's DNA.[5]

A male Way Bad appears as the final boss in the console versions and as the penultimate boss in the 3DS version. The Way Bad can release a powerful scream that only heavy class Omnitrix aliens can withstand. In the 3DS version, the Way Bad can shoot lasers out of his eyes.
Trivia
- The Null Void is not as safe as it used to be now that it's filled with Way Bads.[6][4]
- The Way Bads were inspired by Belial from the Ultraman franchise.[DJW 3][DJW 4]
- Several of the Way Bads are inspired by famous anime characters:
- One of the male Way Bads heavily resembles an Evangelion unit, specifically Eva Unit 01 from the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise.[DJW 5]
- The gothic-themed female Way Bad resembles Scanty from the anime Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.[DJW 3]
- The third eyed male Way Bad who wears a helmet mask resembles Andromon from Digimon.
- The Way Bad with a face in its chest resembles Gurren Lagann.
