Juwon is extremely calm when fighting, as if he’s weeding his garden. Juwon thinks he’s nuts to take on nine people by himself, but Changhui says although Juwon’s fighting skills are superior, Changhui always makes it through at the end. Changhui says he will not allow Cheongang to falter even a bit until the day he becomes the next leader. He tells Juwon to go protect his Cheongang. Juwon says he’s surprised, but it won’t be enough. Jake asks what he means, and Juwon attacks Jake. The two exchange many blows. Juwon thinks that he’s the one fighting Jake, but it feels like Jake is looking elsewhere. It’s as if Juwon is standing in as a practice dummy for someone else. Juwon is angered by this, and continues fighting back. Jake says unlike someone else he knows, Juwon fights with the intent to kill, but he finds the fight more boring. He says he does like it better this way where he can fight with no brakes and can do whatever he wants without thinking of the consequences.
They exchange more blows and Jake slumps to the ground. Juwon says it’s probably not going to be like anything else Jake’s experienced before. He says to keep an organization running, Manwol and Changyeon Lee should make sacrifices. He says Jake wouldn’t understand. As a man who once walked the same road as Juwon, he respected Changyeon until he saw how he couldn’t even take care of one bad apple. Juwon says discipline is needed wherever you go, and it’s the leader’s job to make sure there is no flaw. Jake asks if Juwon is talking about his brother. Juwon says Kenny was Manwol’s only flaw. Jake tells Juwon that it isn’t because of Cheongang but because of his tongue that he’ll die today.
Episode 173
A flashback shows Jaeryeong describing Juwon as a hurricane. Watching Juwon is like watching a wild storm. He’ll take down anyone with one swing from any angle. It’s not just the fear people feel, but downright terror. It’s to the point that they’ll doubt their eyes. The flashback ends. Juwon operated based on one unshakable principle: the expansion of Cheongang. One might even go as far as to call Juwon bullheaded. Jake blocks and dodges Juwon’s attacks while also landing his own attacks. Juwon manages to hit Jake and says there’s something called tradition and that Jake should know what kind of fate awaits for scum that breaks tradition. Juwon had made a promise with Changhui and to Juwon, that promise is more important than anything.
Jake becomes angrier at the mention of his brother being scum and becomes even more brutal in his attacks. Juwon tells Jake he’ll show him what real fighting looks like and delivers a kick followed by multiple punches. His finishing blow sends Jake to the ground again, and he says that without a doubt, Jake is the most talented fighter he’s ever gone again. He sees potential in Jake and tells him to admit his limit. Jake gets back up and punches Juwon in the face and knees him in the side. Juwon falls to his knees and Jake kicks him in the face.
A flashback shows a young Juwon being bullied. He couldn't overcome his fear and had no will to fight. When he became a high schooler and ran into his bully again, he realized that fear was a meaningless emotion created by his young mind’s imagination. From then on, he believed that all he needed was to trust his unshakable will to fight. The flashback ends. Juwon believes that he will reign at the top of the food chain forever. As long as he had the fighting spirit back by skill and principle, he could continue massacring his prey. That is, until he meets this young prodigy, suffers a gruesome defeat. Jake defeats Juwon and knocks him out.

He notices that Changhui’s face is the same face he had seen when Changhui had first lost to him, and even when they fought again soon after and Changhui completely overpowered him. Changhui had told Juwon that the difference between him and Janghyeok was that he wasn’t afraid to take one step back to take two steps forward because what matters to him is who is standing in the end.
