RIMa '85 is the later era version of the RIMa rifle team that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.
History
The primary Troupes de marine formation is 9e Division d'Infanterie de Marine. This division was the heirs to the Blue Division of Franco-Prussian War and 9e Division d'Infanterie Coloniale of World War II. This division was light infantry at this time assigned to terrestrial intervention force which will be expanded to Force d’Action Rapide. 9e Division d'Infanterie de Marine in 1984 was made more heavy with two Marine Regiments mounted in VAB. 11th Division Parachutiste had four Parachutiste d'Infanterie de Marine regiments. The overseas forces were either Legion formations or Marine Formations.
APILAS replaced LARC F1 in 1984. FAMAS became standard service weapon in French service in 1978 replacing MAS-49/56.
