Description
The Winged is the first flying enemy you will encounter in Hard Mode. They have an average health and speed for their debut, however they require flying detection to be attacked by your towers.
Winged is replaced by the Jetpacker in 'Ranked Up' Hard and Expert Mode.
Lore
"Some take to the skies in their battles, preferring the air to the ground. Most of the survivors of the Initial War were completely unprepared for the threat."
Appearance
The Winged has translucent skin, brown fabric legs, jacket and a collar. It has wings on their back that they use to fly. It has a sad face.
Tactics
- Use cheap towers with flying detection to attack this, like the X-1 Sniper and 2-X Sharpshooter.
- The 3-X+ Crossbower can hit Winged if its projectile moves onto it. However, it cannot directly attack it.
- Towers like the Demolitionist can damage the Winged if there is another detectable enemy near it.
