Beta F8 is the unofficial name given to the unused location and early version of quadrant F8, before it was a colossus arena.
Description
It's unsure to know exactly how this version of F8 looked like as no pictures of the area are available. From what is known, Beta F8 was a world border, with smaller cliffs, as an earlier version of quadrant F7 found in the E3 Demo shows that the cliff's shadow was significally shorter than the ones from the 16th colossus. Also, due to the way the shadows are positioned, it is likely that the cliff had an opening in the middle, similar to the final version of E8.
Purpose
It had no big purpose besides being a world border before the number of colossi was reduced to 16 and before 'Buddha' was turned into the final boss.
History
- This early version of F8 was first discovered when the PS3 data sheets were found by Wander's Factory and Wisi.
