Upper Spin
The Upper Spin (アッパースピン , Appā Supin ? [ 1] Sonic the Hedgehog seriesSonic the Hedgehog , in which he shoots upwards with a spin .
Description When performing the Upper Spin, Sonic curls into a ball before shooting himself directly upward with a fast dash. As he does so, he will be surrounded by a yellow cone of energy.
In gameplay, the Upper Spin can only be used when Sonic has Knuckles the Echidna as his partner. When used, this move allows Sonic to make a short dash directly into the air that can damage enemies and give him a bit of elevation. To perform the Upper Spin in gameplay, the player must press up on Spin Jump .[ 1]
