The Kyacchaa [ 1] (キャッチャー[ 2] , Kyatchā ? is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog seriesBadnik created by Dr. Eggman .
Appearance The Kyacchaas are based on spiders . They have an icosahedron-shaped abdomen, have four legs, and two orange eyes. Their main coloring is yellow.
Overview The Kyacchaas make their only appearance in Sonic Advance 3 Cyber Track . In gameplay, the Kyacchaas can be found on ceilings. As soon as the playable character gets close to them however, they will move to where the playable character is and then drop down on them in order to grab them with their legs, inflicting damage on the playable character in the process. After that, they will repeat their attack pattern. The Kyacchaas can be destroyed via any attack, where upon destruction they will release a Ring .
Trivia The Kyacchhaa's name means "catcher" in Japanese, referencing their ability to drop down on the player and damage them. References
