Clam

The Clam[1] (クラーム[2] Kurāmu?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, clam-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance

The Clams, as their name implies, are yellow clams with a blue cannon inside their metallic, pyramid-shaped shells.

Overview

The Clams make their only appearance in Sonic Advance 3, where they appear exclusively in Cyber Track. In gameplay, Clams remain stationary on the ground and attack by shooting three energy balls in succession at an upward angle. These shots can be avoided if the player quickly jumps over them. The Clam can be easily destroyed via any attack, where upon destruction they will release a Ring.
