Tornado Attack

The Tornado Attack (たつまき攻撃, Tatsumaki Kougeki^?) is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is performed by Miles "Tails" Prower, with the influence of Knuckles the Echidna, and is another variant of the Tail Swipe. It has so far only appeared in Sonic Advance 3.

Description

For Tails to perform the Tornado Attack, he has to be teamed up with Knuckles. This means in the gameplay that Tails must be the character the player controls and Knuckles serves as the character that follows Tails. The player must press to initiate the Tornado Attack

When performing this move, Tails does a 360 degree spin and lashes out with his twin tails to damage the enemy, but does it at such incredible speeds and force that it forms air currents around him, making him resemble a mini tornado. The player can extend the duration by repeatedly pressing  but if the move is performed for too long, Tails eventually stops, growing dizzy by the move, leaving him vulnerable for a short while as the player cannot move him in this state. This move also makes it possible for Tails to break the metal barriers that appear throughout the stages.
