Lure Whip

Lure Whip (ルアーウイップ, Ruā Uippu^?) is a POW move used by Big the Cat in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Big trips his opponents with his fishing rod, possibly stunning them.

Description

When performing Lure Whip, Big moves up in front of his opponent and casts out the line on his fishing rod to catch the opponent on it. Once the opponent is caught on the line of his fishing rod, Big reels it in, resulting the opponent tripping, before Big returns to his team position.

In gameplay, Lure Whip deals attack damage to a single target. When dealing damage, Lure Whip has a chance of inflicting stun on the target. The higher the level of Lure Whip is, the more attack damage it will deal and the greater the possibility that it will inflict stun on an opponent.

Real-Time Interaction

When performing Lure Whip in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Lure Whip optimally. For these actions, the player has to touch the inside of two circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles. Missing or not touching these circles correctly will either result in Big missing the strike or the damage from the attack being reduced.
