Blazing Tornado

Blazing Tornado (フレイムトルネード, Fureimutorunēdo^?, lit. "Flame Tornado") is a POW move used by E-123 Omega, with the aid of Rouge the Bat, in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Omega uses his flamethrower for Rouge, who channels his flames into a fiery kick. This attack deals fire damage.

Description

When performing Blazing Tornado, Omega moves up in front of the opponent while Rouge moves up right beside him. As Rouge then flies up, Omega reconfigures his hand claws into a flamethrower and unleashes a wide torrent of flames on Rouge. Rouge then channels Omega's flames into her foot, engulfing it in fire, before flying up and dealing a fiery downward kick to the target and retreats.

In gameplay, Blazing Tornado deals attack damage to a chosen target, while dealing elemental Fire damage and can even hit opponents that stand adjacent of the target on the enemies' side of the battlefield. The higher the level of Blazing Tornado is, the more attack damage it will deal.

Real-Time Interaction

When performing Blazing Tornado in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Blazing Tornado optimally. For these actions, the player has to touch the inside of seven circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles. Missing or not touching these circles correctly will either result in Rouge missing the strike or the damage from the attack being reduced.
