Armor Piercing

Armor Piercing is a battle effect that appears in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. It allows attacks from characters to bypass enemies' armor stat.

Overview

Armor Piercing is an additional effect to certain attacks in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. It can be inflicted on both playable characters and enemies by using certain POW moves.

When using an Armor Piercing attack on an opponent, the attack ignores the target's armor rating when dealing damage, as if the target's armor stat were at zero. As such, Armor Piercing attacks can in most cases inflict much more attack damage on enemies than what regular attacks or some of the POW moves can.
