Appearance

Clutch is a tall light green and dark green furred opossum. His muzzle and fingers are pale peach with freckles, and he has a pink pointed nose. He has white eyes with black sclera. The fur around his face forms a spiky beard-like shape. He has five dark green tufts of fur that grow directly out below his muzzle. Clutch's ears stick upright and are dark green in color, and his left ear has a gold earring. He also has thick, dark green eyebrows. He also has dark green fur that covers his hands, except for his clawed fingers. Clutch also has a large, pale pink tail with faint stripes.
For attire, Clutch initially wore a white tuxedo jacket with stripes and a gold necktie, gold buttons, gold pockets, and gold-colored diamond cufflinks. He wore white loafers with gold accents. He occasionally wears a white bucket hat with a yellow stripe running across the center. He also wore a large dark gray and gray furred coat that made his silhouette appear much larger. Also, his fourth tooth from the middle of his face on the left is gold. After being forcibly recruited into the Eggman Empire, Clutch's attire was streamlined, he no longer has a tie and now wears his bucket hat full-time to cover a spider-like device atop his head, his tuxedo no longer has stripes or pockets and now has a black lapel and pocket square, the gold accents on his loafers are gone.
History
Past
A master criminal of a past generation, Clutch built himself a notable reputation in the underworld as an arms dealer. During his time, he swindled and beat many heroes. However, he eventually went into retirement and wound up forgotten.[2]
During his retirement, Clutch made a name for himself as the reigning champion of the White Park Chao Racing Circuit. He managed to accumulate a large amount of riches and technology that he stored in his penthouse suite in the White Park Grand Chateau. He also gained a reputation for himself on the underground market, being known for making the odd secret trade every now and again. He also became a great Chao trainer but did not treat Chao that did not win races for him too kindly, whom he would keep locked up in a cage in his suite.[3][4]
Chao Races and Badnik Bases
Eventually, Clutch participated in another race in the White Park Chao Racing Circuit with his Dark Chao. He boasted and celebrated with it after it had qualified for the grand prix that would take place the following day. Clutch had also taken the notice of one particular Chao, Cheese, and introduced himself to the owner of him, "Facet". Seeing through her lie, he invited "Facet" to his penthouse suite so that they could discuss shop. When "Facet" arrived, Clutch told her that he knew she was really Rouge the Bat, saying that their meeting was inevitable. He proposed a deal for Rouge; if Cheese managed to come out on top in the following day's race, he would provide her with anything she wanted from his collection. However, Rouge would have to trade Cheese himself as well. Rouge told him that she would think it over and left.[4] The next day, Clutch joined more Chao Races with his Dark Chao, who was beaten by Cheese in the final race. As the race was wrapped up, Clutch sent Rouge a glare. Later, he met with Rouge and her friends in his suite, mocking them and provoking Gemerl. He also assured them that despite appearances, he was not defenseless. Rouge then made Cream and Cheese come to him, and Clutch realized that the Chao was actually Cream's. As he praised Rouge for her cunning though, he heard Rouge utter what sounded like a codeword to execute some kind of plan. Though surprised by this, Clutch calmed down when nothing seemed to happen. Immediately after, however, he was knocked out by Shadow. Amy, Cream and Rouge then discovered the cage in which Clutch kept his Chao. The heroes thus decided to free the Chao and guard the unconscious Clutch.[3] In truth, however, Clutch only pretended to be unconscious. When only Amy, Cream, Cheese, Gemerl, and Belle were left in his suite, he managed to sneak away and fire a warning shot at Amy with his cane. He then activated the Badnik guards in his apartment, before leaving the heroes to their apparent doom.[5]
Trial by Fire
Seeing his home in White Park Zone and much of his accumulated property confiscated in the aftermath was a wake-up call for Clutch. Having realized that there was a new generation of do-gooders out there that he had never beaten or swindled, Clutch decided that this could not stand and so sought to rebuild his criminal empire. To start out, he began hiding out in a warehouse on Central City's docks, where he managed to move the remnants of his collection of Badnik parts and weapons that was not confiscated to, which he then planned to sell to other bidders. To help him with moving his precious cargo out of the city for his buyers, Clutch hired Rough and Tumble to carry them through his one cargo route in the sewers of Central City.[2]

Eventually, Rough and Tumble reported to Clutch that their route had been discovered by the Chaotix. As Clutch expressed his dissatisfaction with the results, he heard sounds from Espio creeping around, prompting him to fire several shots at him. Moments later, Vector and Charmy intervened. Though Clutch tried to sneak away while Rough and Tumble engaged Vector and Charmy in combat, he was soon caught by Espio. Clutch was then led to Vector and explained his motives. In response, Vector sank Clutch's entire collection into the sea by smashing the floor in the warehouse. Regardless, Clutch, though disgruntled by this outcome, managed to steal some of Espio's smoke bombs, which he used to escape, and took Rough and Tumble with him.[2]
Misadventures
In order to rebuild his wealth, Clutch founded Clean Sweep Inc., a company dedicated to cleaning up the broken Eggtech left behind in Sonic and Eggman's battles. In reality, Clean Sweep was a cover for both Clutch and his arms trade and his "means of accessing places others cannot", as he would secretly add the broken Eggtech to his own arsenal. However, he soon found himself competing with the Restoration, who not only did everything Clean Sweep Inc. did, but they did it for free and disposed of the Eggtech.
Not wanting all of the tech to go to waste, he went to great lengths to contact Mimic. Once the octopus arrived, he explained the situation to him and asked the shapeshifter to infiltrate the Restoration to undermine its efforts from within. Once Mimic expressed his doubts about the deal, Clutch informed him that he knew of his grudge against Tangle and Whisper, and mentioned they were a part of the Restorations new vanguard, the Diamond Cutters. On hearing this, Mimic agreed to his plan, knowing that it would also mean he would be a step closer to revenge. Clutch then officially welcomes Mimic into Clean Sweep Inc.[6]

Later, Clutch hired the Babylon Rogues to get a relic from Angel Island. This was done to throw the Chaotix off his tail while they investigated the robbery. Even though the Rogues didn't keep Knuckles from getting the relic, Clutch told Jet in a phone call that he would still be paid and their job was complete. After the call, Clutch meet with Jewel to finalize an agreement with Clean Sweep Inc. and the Restoration.[7] Sometime later, Clutch hired Rough and Tumble and used them on an operation to raze Starline Base Sigma. When Surge and Kit appeared and trounced the duo, Clutch appeared and explained the robots and skunks worked from him. Clutch explained to Surge he knew Dr. Starline and he was a client of his. He revealed he knew who Surge was, among other things. He also knew she didn't like Sonic or his friends and offered her to join him. Surge asked who he was, and Clutch introduced himself, saying what Clean Sweep Inc. was and his plan to get the Restoration out of his company's way. Clutch offered her to join in exchange for him telling everything he knows about her and Kit. Surge agreed and Clutch informed Mimic the imposters were infiltrating the Restoration.[8]
Phantom Riders

On the evening before the race, Mimic, under the guise of one of the Restoration workers, talks about the upcoming races with Clutch, calling the Rouges "Airborne Maroons" always scrambling for treasure. For Team Sonic, Mimic tells Clutch he needs to stay off the radar, noting Amy to be the core behind their success and her finding out about Clutch's presence would cause their plan to become messy and fail. Mimic proposes to arrange something to better their chances. Clutch tell him to head over to Pre-race inspections and meet up with his "boys" who know of what Clutch desires. On the morning of the race, Mimic, now disguised as Duo, wakes up Surge and Kit. After dealing with the fallout of waking the duo up, Mimic tells the pair that Clutch has assigned them a mission; to click the button on the remote and mess up the hero's gear. Surge is unamused by the sneaky nature of the plan and would rather do something more bold. Clutch then walks in and reminds her how they were nothing until he found them, leaving Surge but no choice but to follow through with the assignment.
During the Clean Sweepstakes race, Clutch is shown siting with Jewel having some Chaos Cola. Jewel is repulsed by its sweetness and kindly declines the beverage. Clutch is amused by her reaction and tells her that it is an acquired taste. Jewel ponders if she should be down at ground level representing the Restoration, to which Clutch responds with a warning that being in the public eye is a recipe for trouble. He then tells of how an individual by themselves is approachable, fallible, and weak and Restoration should be seen as nothing more than an institution. Jewel counters this ideology, telling Clutch of how the Restoration has always tried to connect with the people it tries to help. Clutch assures her that they will help, but that changes are necessary. Jewel musses, to Clean Sweep Inc.'s credit, they have been impressive on the paperwork side. Clutch assures her that she hasn't seen the best of what his company has to offer, with plans to make their plans global scale. Jewel's alarm goes off as she realizes she has paperwork to do. Clutch stops her, noting how she'll miss the race. Jewel tells of how there is always paperwork to do and recalls how Clutch himself noted it was where she "shines".[9]
Duo after the second race goes and talks to Clutch saying how they should make the next supply drop go missing to keep Jewel busy, Clutch ask Duo to figure out who the Phantom Rider is in the next event. saying how he might be a threat to his plan.[10] Clutch is shocked to hear from Mimic that the Phantom Rider is none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. He begins to grow enraged before stopping and apologizing for his temper. He admits to having had too much fun and decides it is time to get back to work, declaring that the next time the Phantom Rider shows himself at the Clean Sweepstakes will be the last.[11]

Surge and Kit walk up to Clutch announcing they quit. Clutch bursts out laughing, causing Surge to insist that they are serious. After composing himself, Clutch explains to them that the fame Surge and Kit are experiencing does not belong to them, and that, depending on his needs, he can make them monsters just as easily as he made them heroes. He tells them that they still get glory, fame, and the opportunity to be violent now and then so long as they maintain appearances. Clutch also states that he has a "hedgehog problem," and orders Surge to destroy the Phantom Rider the next time she faces him.[12]
Jewel walks into the main bridge and yells to Clutch that they need to talk when he welcomes her and ask what she's doing here, she then mentions the Phantom Rider and Clutch then assures her that he is managing the situation. Jewel responds saying how he did not ask permission and the Clean Sweepstakes Security has flooded the ship and reactivated the shuttle's arsenal for one troublemaker. Clutch continues saying that he did not want to bother he and the ship's weapons are merely precautionary, but Jewels says that's not good enough of an answer and revokes his administrative rights effective immediately. Jewel than says they will continue their discussion later and she will take care of it, Clutch than ask if this is necessary and Jewel responds saying if she has to make him leave than she will and orders the security to escort Clutch out of here until Clutch reminds her that all the security works under Clean Sweep Inc. all for the good of the sweepstakes.
Clutch than reassures her that the situation is under control and Jewel nervously agrees saying she can do his job, and she will do hers. Later on, Rough, Tumble and Clutch appear along with his security to stop Team Chaotix, Amy, Tails, Belle and Don. With Clutch saying that he did not expect this many guests further saying if you want something done do it yourself.[13] Clutch, Rough, Tumble, and his security surround our heroes: Amy, Belle, Tails, Don and Team Chaotix are prepared to fight when Clutch speaks on having to enjoy these moments and orders his group to attack. During that Tails and Belle hurry over to try and open the door when Clutch uses his Gun Cane to hit them and barley misses Tails, with Clutch saying how he's only getting warmed up and further calling him a "kid". They soon rush up to safety and Team Chaotix manages to take down Rough and soon confronts Clutch, with Vector threatening them to beat them up and Charmy calling Clutch old, causing him to nearly get shot by Clutch and is then caught by Rough. Clutch responds saying how children should be seen and not heard saying how he's already pushing both. Clutch then says how their cell is over there and that they can make the cage work, despite it being small, with him further asking to give him the USB. Clutch is then tricked and Charmy escapes with Rough and Tumble asking to go with Clutch, but he responds saying how he does not need dead weight holding him back. Clutch shoots the monitor causing the skunks and the rest of the heroes to be stuck in the room.

Soon Clutch attempting to shoot him orders his forces to stop him, but they miss with Clutch saying how it's impossible to find good help. Clutch than falls over after being tripped by someone when Charmy gives Nite the USB and tells him he did great work with Clutch demanding him to stop and Nite responds saying how he doesn't work for him and slams the USB drive into the database. Clutch than runs over but is stopped by a Hover Wispon with Jewel saying that she had time to think and is terminating their business partnership. Meanwhile everyone starts holding Clutch back as he and Clean Sweep is exposed when Clutch pushes him out of his chair when he hears the crowed booing him when he says how it's a good business plan and gloats about how much money he makes off of it. He is soon embarrassed when he crushes the control and shuts of the broadcast and begins to override the shuttle when Jewel stops him by self-destructing the shuttle that will occur in thirty minutes when Clutch shuts down the shuttle and sets it on a collision course with Central City.[14]

Jewel, Charmy, two Restoration members, and Nite have been tied up by members of the Clean Sweepstakes Security. Clutch attempts to leave in his limo but is grabbed and thrown to the floor by Sonic, who calls him out for hijacking the Restoration and causing the whole "mess", as well as the way he runs his business. As he starts firing his Gun Cane, Clutch, having finally met Sonic in the flesh, tells the hedgehog he has caused him a lot of trouble, a remark Sonic is used to hearing. Surge and Kit then join the fight, with the former reminding Clutch that they quit. While they charge at each other, Clutch angrily orders his guards to fight, only for them to quit as well, leaving the opossum to fend for himself. The opossum gets on top of a nearby cannon, causing Surge to taunt him over the lack of controls available. Clutch is able to open fire via a remote controller hidden in his pocket, although Surge and Kit are pulled away from the blast by Sonic aboard his Eggstreme Gear. Despite sharing the same enemy, Surge refuses Sonic's help, claiming that it is her and Kit's fight. Their arguing is interrupted by a blast from Clutch's cannon that knocks the three of them to the ground. While Clutch gloats and plans to escape using the Eggstreme Gear, it suddenly transforms into a battle robot with a monitor that has Dr. Eggman's face on it. Now in full control of the Eggstreme Gear, he charges at Clutch and grabs him, introducing himself to the opossum and admonishing him for his mockery and use of the Eggman Empire's property for his own gain. Eggman attempts to blow Clutch up with missiles, only for Sonic to intervene, remarking that this was not part of the deal. As they continue fighting, Sonic demands that Clutch apologize and fix his mess, tackling him to the ground while Eggman grabs Sonic. Surge then charges up and releases a massive blast of electricity on the three of them, which manages to knock Clutch out cold but also wear Surge herself out. However, Eggman reveals he built the Eggstreme Gear to be resistant to Surge's powers and picks up the unconscious Clutch. Sonic, still recovering from the blast, asks what Eggman is planning, to which he answers that it is just business and nothing for Sonic to worry about before flying away with Clutch.[15]
Scattered Pieces
After the destruction of Restoration HQ, Eggman would attach a tick bug-like egg tech device to his head, as well as forcing Clutch to work for him, profiting off Clean Sweep Inc. to make way for the Eggman Empire. Clutch would later return to White Park Chateau, where Rough and Tumble would appear for a payback. Clutch signed the place over to the brothers, making them his "bosses" as well, much to the duo's excitment. After Sonic and the Chaotix arrive at the chateau to investigate and have a fight with Rough and Tumble, Clutch appears and calls their attention. He shows to actually be serving the skunk brothers, as he calls them "misters" and asks for their permission to talk to the boys. Rough and Tumble allow him to and order him to clean up after. The Chaotix and Sonic believe it might be a trap but decide to go on anyway, while Vector orders Charmy to put the board game back, which the latter refuses. They follow Clutch to his penthouse suit as he sits down asks what they want after already ruining his life. Sonic asks him to answer for the destruction of Restoration HQ, which the elder replies that it was a pyrrhic victory and that the Restoration didn't lose anything valuable, while he himself lost everything. Sonic then asks what happened to him after Eggman took him away from their fight during the Clean Sweepstakes; Clutch responds that he escaped from Eggman as soon as he got distracted, but the heroes (except Charmy) still don't believe him.

Clutch then admits he overplayed his hands during the Clean Sweepstakes, so he did the "reasonable" and "smart" thing to do and ran away and hid. Vector calls out that hiding in the first place they would look for doesn't seem "smart", which Clutch replies the chateau was his haven and that the heroes didn't find him directly. The crocodile then asks why he still has Egg Pawns and Rough and Tumble with him. Annoyed, Clutch handles the heroes the deed to White Park Chateau, showing he signed the place over to the skunk brothers, as well as terms of his employment during their ownership, after the brothers went to him wanting a payback. He also claims the egg-tech are leftovers stock from when he ran operations in the place. Espio then demands to know why Clean Sweep Inc. is still operating. The opossum responds it's operating thanks to his automated robots, also claiming that most of his living being employees abandoned him after he was exposed. Sonic asks if there are maintenance bots, while Vector still has doubts, while calls the opossum rotten. Clutch claims the heroes have won as they beat him when he tried to get back into the game and that it is all over. Charmy feels remorse for Clutch, while Espio tells him not to. With this, Clutch gives Sonic a paper with the address of the nearest operational Clean Sweep facility for they to go look themselves, even claimed they can burn the place to the ground for all he cares. Charmy begs to take the board game with him, which Clutch angered agrees to. The heroes then leave the place, but Vector claims they will return if things still remain not right. After this, Clutch watches the heroes through the window. He then walks to a Picky animatron and twiddles its head, opening a secret passage. Just then Rough and Tumble enter the room to talk to Clutch but can't find him. But they don't care much and leave. Clutch is now in a room with many monitors, then Eggman appears in the screens. Clutch informs his new boss about Sonic and the Chaotix's arrival, as well their upcoming arrival to the nearest Clean Sweep base, letting Eggman do whatever he wants with them there. Eggman is impressed but still demands more details. Sweating nervously, Clutch takes off his hat, showing the device attached to his head, and tells Eggman he lied to the heroes, and that they have no idea Eggman is profiting off Clean Sweep Inc. to expand the Eggman Empire. Eggman is satisfied and dismisses Clutch before hanging up. Clutch puts on his hat again while nervously and still sweating holding his cane with his shaking hands.
Personality
Clutch is a highly collected and composed individual. Never showing any inclination of shock or surprise, he is extremely adept at keeping his emotions in check. He is also quite sly in his mannerisms and is not truly afraid of interacting with anyone (though he is still capable of being surprised, as seen when Espio held a kunai directly to his throat).[4][2] However, his calmness also makes him very intimidating; while he does not express his anger emotionally, he makes it evidently clear with firm statements and piercing glares.[2] However, Clutch is not immune to losing his cool when his patience is pushed to the limit, making a more direct show of anger as a result.
Clutch is highly intelligent and perceptive, having accurately seen through Rouge's attempts to disguise her identity and intentions, correctly guessed who Cheese's real trainer was after seeing her for the first time, and identified a seemingly random codeword after hearing it just once.[4][3]
Clutch loved participating in Chao Races and took great pride in his status as a champion. However, he admitted himself that he only treats his Chao well when they bring him victories. When his Chao lose or otherwise disappoint him, he would remorselessly lock them in cages with multiple padlocks, even if they failed just once. For this reason, his Chao tried to do their best so that they would not be imprisoned.[3][5]
Clutch is also cunning and greedy and enjoys hoarding his treasures and trading weapons with his clients.[4][3] He claims to have fooled many of the heroes of the previous generation. After years of activity though, Clutch was satisfied with his retirement at the White Park Grand Chateau. However, he is also not one to stand by while heroes run about, especially those whom he has never been victorious over; after he was defeated by Amy, Rouge and Cream, he realized that a whole new generation of heroes had emerged into the world, many of whom he had not yet managed to swindle or defeat with his cunning. Seeing this as a wake-up call, he insists that this state of affairs cannot stand. As such, he has since decided to go back to the basics of his criminal life and rebuild his empire.[2]
Clutch tends to be quiet and convoluted in his methods while rarely resorting to violence, akin to Doctor Starline. This is seen in his plot to undermine the Restoration, where Clutch installed spies in the ranks of the Restoration rather than mounting a direct attack on Restoration HQ. Clutch is aware of when brute force is the best course of action however, as evident by hiring powerful minions such as Rough and Tumble, as well as employing the various Badniks he has collected. Additionally, Clutch primarily relies on cheap shots, surprise attacks, and other dirty tricks when in combat himself, preferring to not confront his opponent head-on to avoid capture or defeat.
Powers and abilities
Despite his age, Clutch is an experienced villain and a dangerous foe; at the height of his career, he managed to outwit and defeat an unspecified number of heroes.[2]
Thanks to experience, Clutch is a seasoned thief and a master criminal. He is an experienced pickpocket, capable of stealing small objects from his enemies, unnoticed.[2] As an opossum, he is also skilled at feigning unconsciousness. He was even able to make Gemerl believe he was unconscious, in spite of the robot's various sensors and scanning capabilities.[5] He is also a good marksman, capable of firing an accurate warning shot at Amy with his laser gun.
Clutch is a skilled Chao trainer and believes he can train the most promising ones into legends. A testament to his skills is the huge collection of various treasures he has accumulated in his apartment via Chao Races.[4]
Equipment and weapons
Main Article: Gun Cane

Clutch's main weapon is his Gun Cane, which appears to be a normal cane. His diamond cufflinks also conceal buttons that activate his Badnik guards when clicked.[5]
Relationships
Clutch's Chao
Clutch is pretty abusive towards any Chao that loses, as for the winner(s); he keeps the winning Chao until it loses.
Rough and Tumble the Skunk
Clutch hired Rough the Skunk and Tumble the Skunk for help in his services. Clutch saw the duo as nothing more than minions to help fulfill his goal. He would even call them dead weight and further state that they are slowing him down.
Mimic the Octopus
Clutch had Mimic the Octopus to infiltrate the Restoration to help him take it down. Clutch saw Mimic as nothing more than a minion. Clutch eventually caused Mimic's diguise as "Duo the Cat" to be exposed, when he called the latter through an walkie-talkie to provide backup on the main deck, referring to Mimic by his real name not knowing the Diamond Cutters were listening. Clutch didn't call or mention Mimic afterwards.
Team Chaotix

Clutch sees the Chaotix as enemies and a threat to his plans, since their first encounter when Vector destroyed his entire collection. Clutch sees them as a credible threat, with how him hiring the Babylon Rogues to steal artifacts from Angel Island solely to distract the Detectives so Clutch could meet Jewel and form a partnership. And further when the Chaotix snuck onto the Battleship the day before the races began, Clutch had them captured and kept prisoners in the ship's engine room. And upon discovering they had stolen all the information and dirt needed to take his company down after they were freed, he threatened that he cannot let them keep the record or leave, showing how much he sees the detectives as credible threats.
Jewel the Beetle

Seeing the Restoration as a threat to his business, Clutch made a partnership with Jewel the Beetle, the current director of the Restoration, in order to secretly take the organization down.
Clutch would always treat Jewel with kind and respect so she wouldn't suspect his true intentions. Jewel didn't suspect anything until the events of the Clean Sweepstakes race. When she realized Clutch and the Clean Sweep team were slowly taking over the Restoration, she came to Tangle and Whisper, who immediately agreed to help. After Clutch was exposed for his crimes, Jewel stops him from running away with the help of a citizen with a Hover Wispon, and declares the Restoration and Clean Sweep Inc.'s partnership is terminated. When he crushes the control and shuts off the broadcast and begins to override the shuttle, Jewel stops him by self-destructing the shuttle.
Clutch later has Clean Sweepstakes Security ties up Jewel, Charmy, two Restoration members, and Nite and plans to leave them to die on the shuttle's self-destruction, but they are saved by Sonic. Now Jewel no longer trusts Clutch as she sees him as who he really is.
Surge the Tenrec and Kitsunami the Fennec

Clutch offered Surge the Tenrec and Kitsunami the Fennec to join in exchange for him telling everything he knows about them, in which they agreed. Like with Mimic, Clutch doesn't care about neither of them and only views the duo as way to get to his goal. During the Clean Sweepstakes race, after getting a new reputation as "heroes" for chasing the Phantom Rider away, the pair came to Clutch to claim they quit. However, Clutch just laughs, explaining to them that the fame Surge and Kit are experiencing does not belong to them, and that he can make them monsters just as easily as he made them heroes, and just orders them to destroy the Phantom Rider.
Clutch was sure he put Surge and Kit on their place, not knowing the two instead were planning on against him. After Surge exposed Sonic as the Phantom Rider during the race's final event, she exposed Clutch as well, yelling publicly to him that the "Phantom Rider" has been destroyed just like he asked, to his anger. Clutch eventually fought against Surge and Kit while fighting Sonic on his way to leave, with the pair announcing they officially quit his services.
Sonic the Hedgehog

Clutch sees Sonic the Hedgehog as an enemy and a threat for his plans and the race to the point where he begun making threats about pulling Sonic's quills out and eating them, which makes Mimic scared, and then tells him that the next time Phantom Rider shows up, it'll be the last, meaning that he's ready to do everything to get rid of Sonic. When he meets the hedgehog for the first time, he is surprised and see him as a worthy opponent.

- Clutch shares some similarities to Fang the Hunter, both are wanted criminals, both wear hats, both are armed with guns, both hiring very powerful minions like Rough & Tumble (Clutch) and Bean & Bark (Fang), and both stand on their strong & dexterous tails.
- Clutch's habit of drinking rare versions of Chaos Cola is similar to how rich people in media having a habit of drinking expensive and rare wine.
