Freedo is Prince James' pet baboon who appears in the Disney Junior series Sofia the First, voiced by Mick Wingert.

Background

Freedo made his debut appearance in the episode "Blue Ribbon Bunny" where James enters him in a pet contest.

In the episode "Scrambled Pets" he is shown to be playful and enjoys a game of fetch. However sometimes his playful running around can cause problems and bother the other pets, especially Praline. When James brought him to school he got mixed up in a sorcery class accident, turning him into a peacock baboon. He enjoyed being mixed up and began to run around the school and when Amber made him bigger, he rampaged through the school gym playing with the balls. Sofia, James, Vivian and Amber were able to catch him and change him back.

He is seen at Clover's party in "Clover Time", showing off his trick of cracking nuts against his head.
