The King of Brazendell is a character who appears in the Disney Junior animated series, Sofia the First. He is the ruler of the Kingdom of Brazendell and voiced by Fritz Sperberg.
History
The King of Brazendell makes his debut in "The Tale of the Noble Knight". He first appears as an illustration showing him giving Sir Oliver permission to find the Ice Fire Shield and stop the Dragons of Brazendell who have been causing fires for reasons unknown at the time. He later appears in person to ask Sir Jaxon what's going on. Sofia and Jaxon reveal the truth about the fires: Sir Oliver caused the fires by provoking the Dragons so he could use the Ice Fire Shield to get rid of them and become First Knight, which Oliver accidently admits to. Disgusted, the King banishes Sir Oliver from Brazendell and awards Sir Jaxon with the Ice Fire Shield and makes him First Knight.
