— Description of forming Siam |
Siam is a formable of Thailand, located in Southeast Asia
Background
The first kingdom of Siam, known as Ayutthaya, was founded in 1238 from the kingdom of Sukhothai. The kingdom was established along the Chao Phraya and Mekong rivers where a fertile plain was created, making the area perfect for farming as well as trading with nearby kingdoms.
Over time Siam would change dynasties frequently as a result of the region's instability. Siam would remain relatively safe from foreign invasion for it's history, allowing it to develop it's strong Hindu-Chinese culture and construct many religious monuments and cultures. Another development of Thai/Siamese culture was the many martial arts they practiced, which would become a major part of pop culture through fighting video games and movies for it's distinct style.
Siam's peace would begin to run out during the 19th century where the colonial behemoths of France and Britain imposed unequal treaties upon the nation, forcing it to cede many of its lands to the empires. Although Siam came close to full colonization, it retained independence so it would serve as a buffer state between French Indochina and the British Raj.
Siam would join the allies and declare war on the Central Powers in mid 1917 during WW1. Siam did this as it would improve relations with neighboring France and
United Kingdom, who were now allied and had no reason for Siam to exist.
In 1932 Siam would come to an end, at least by name, as a military coup turned the nation into a Constitutional Monarchy and changed the country's name to Thailand.
Economy and Manpower
Siam has an income of $943,410 and has a maximum manpower cap of 306,770.
Terrain
Siam is filled with lots of hilly Jungles.
Threats
The main threats are Vietnam, Philippines, Burma and Japan:
Note: However, there usually are no threats when forming, as Laos is easy to take.
- Vietnam will want to conquer Laos and Cambodia to reform the Nguyen Dynasty.
- Philippines will want to expand.
- Burma will want to conquer Thailand and Laos to reform the Toungoo Dynasty.
- Japan will want to conquest all of Southeast Asia (except Timor-Leste) to reform the Empire of Japan.
- Cambodia too will want to conquer Thailand and Laos to reform the Khmer Empire, but will most likely fail.
- Indonesia or any other southeast Asian nation wanting to form the Federation of Southeast Asian States.
- India or China wanting to expand its territory.
Strategy
Justify war Laos, use all you home guard from it, then using AI luring, after Laos troops dead, move you troops to it capital, after that split you troops and auto captured it, you can now form Siam!
