— Description of forming Eweland |
Eweland is a formable of Togo. It is located in Western Africa
, consisting of
Togo,
Benin, and
Ghana.
Background
The following is taken from Wikipedia which is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0. You can view the article it was taken from here.
The Ewe people (/ˈeɪ.weɪ/; Ewe: Eʋeawó, lit. "Ewe people"; or Mono Kple Volta Tɔ́sisiwo Dome, lit. "Ewe nation","Eʋenyigba" Eweland;) are a Gbe ethnic group. The largest population of Ewe people is in Ghana (3.5 million), and the second largest population in
Togo (3.1 million). They speak the Ewe language (Ewe: Eʋegbe) which belongs to the Gbe family of languages. They are related to other speakers of Gbe languages such as the Fon, Gen, Phla Phera, and the Aja people of Togo and
Benin. The ancient history of the Ewe people is not recorded. they might have migrated from a place called Ketu or Amedzowe in Benin, east of the Niger River, or that they are from the region that is now the border between Benin and
Nigeria and then because of invasions and wars in the 17th century migrated into their current location. Archaeological evidence suggests that the Ewe people likely had some presence in their current homelands at least earlier than the 13th century. This evidence dates their dynamism to a much earlier period than previously believed. However, other evidence also suggests a period of turmoil, particularly when Yoruba warriors of Oyo Empire ruled the region. Their own oral tradition describes the brutal king Agɔ Akɔli or (Agor Akorli) of Notsie ruled from Kpalimé in 17th century.
The idea about Eweland occured in 1945, when various members of Ewe and wider Togolese leadership began the construction of political organizations which sought to decolonize French Togoland. These developed as the Comité de l'Unité Togolaise, led by Sylvanus Olympio, and the Mouvement la Jeunesse Togolaise. Both possessed political platforms that included the reunification of French Togoland and British Togoland.
Economy and Manpower
Eweland produces $979,539 in total revenue. It has a maximum manpower cap of 233,921, and it gains 1508 manpower daily.
Resources
Eweland produces 2.4 Aluminum, 1
Chromium, 7.7
Gold, and 0.7
Phosphate.
Geography
Terrain
Due to being on the coast of Africa, Eweland is entirely flat.
Biome
Central and southern Benin and Togo is made up of the Jungle biome, along with a good portion of Ghana, with the rest being made up of the normal biome.
Borders
It borders Cote d'Ivoire to the west,
Burkina Faso and
Niger to the north,
Nigeria to the East, and the Atlantic Ocean to the South.
Cities
Eweland has a total of 33 cities, 3 being square cities. Its capital is Lomé, with the most populous being Accra.
Strategy
This formable is quick and easy, not many players start off as one of these countries, and the number of countries you have to conquer is little.
If
Benin and
Ghana are AI
- As
Togo, take
Benin by creating 80k troops, split into 2 divisions. Lure the AI troops and destroy them.
- After you annex
Benin, create a recruitment center in your capital, and create some more infantry.
- Lure the Ghanaian troops and destroy them. Then take capital of
Ghana, and auto capture the rest.
Congrats! You have now formed Eweland
If
Benin and/or
Ghana are players
You should stay on the defensive side. At the start build one steel, motor and electronic factory, also remember to build a fortification on your capital. Purchase the resources once they're almost finished and then sell the electronics to AI nations (1-5 units each). After that you should have enough income to sustain your tanks and artiliary. Produce and train jungle specilization on the tanks. Once either nation justified on you or you justified on them station your artiliary on their troops and let them bombard their troops. Once they have exhausted all their manpower or they have rage quitted, capture their capital and take over the nation, do the same for the other nation and congrats! you have now formed Eweland.
Threats
Nigeria may conquer neighbouring countries (
Benin and
Ghana) if a player decides to join as the country.
- Other nations such as
South Africa will most likely want to form the
African Union.
France could want to form the
French Empire, which requires
Benin and
Togo.
- The
United Kingdom needs
Ghana to form the
British Empire.
Germany needs
Togo to form the
German Empire.
Cote d'Ivoire will conquer all of
Eweland to Expand Eastward after forming
Kong Empire.
5/6 of the threats mentioned typically happen mid or late game, (the odd one out being Nigeria) so you have plenty of time to form Eweland before you have to worry about any of those 5.
