Fred's first appearance was near spawn doing his job, Tubbo, a islander went to greet them. Being this their first interaction with any islander. They wrote in a book
"Good evening Mr. Tubbo. I am an employee of the Federation I was in charge of cleaning"
After reading this Tubbo asked if they had a name, which wasn't the case so he named them Fred, to what they wrote
"Fred is fine
"I have no name either way."
Tubbo began to ask them a lot of questions about the Federation to what Fred wrote
I applied at QuesadillaIsland.com and got accepted
Tubbo kept asking them questions while offering to help cleaning and they wrote
I was told to clean this. Nothing else.
While Fred was trying to keep working Tubbo asked them to be friends and they replied
what is a friend?
Tubbo explained them that a friend is someone you can rely on, someone you can go to, that is loyal. cares about you, is nice to you and you hangout with them for fun. Fred wrote in response
oh, so my boss can be my friend?
And he replied that yes and asked who they were. They wrote

He replied that the only person he knew from the Census Bureau was Cucurucho, who Fred didn't knew about.
Tubbo tried to help Fred cleaning, and they wrote

Tubbo replied that they were interesting and new there when there weren't many new people, and thought that it was messed up that they had to clean all the mess that had nothing to do with him. Fred wrote

Tubbo understood and said that he wasn't there to stop them doing their job. He started helping them as he could, and he asked how many of them worked with them, Fred wrote that he didn't knew and Tubbo told him that he had a colleague and was going to visit them.
Fred kept cleaning but was interrupted once again by Tubbo and this time with two other islanders, Forever and Aypierre. Tubbo introduced Fred to them and they kept cleaning while two other islanders arrived, FitMC and Polispol.They reappeared in the Favela with another worker (Possibly Ged). At some point, Cellbit passed them and was confused as to what they were doing, but just went straight to where he was going. Fred was making a strange noise, like a "beep" and Forever said that they were part of their boy band.
When Fred was first seen by Tubbo, he played two long tones with a long space between (two letter "T"s in morse code) and Tubbo asked if he could hear the noise, and Fred gave him a book which is different from how Fred normally types. Fred played long tone again two different times (still maybe "- -" in morse code, which is "T T") and gave him a book saying that he was just working and nothing else.
They talked for a bit and Tubbo tried to get him to take a tour of his factory. Fred then said "no" just like Cucurucho and walked away, Tubbo asked if he could speak and he said "si" and then "no", which Tubbo interpreted as he can speak but he's not supposed to.
Fred walked away, and while walking away did the "- -" again and dropped a book while walking for Tubbo to pick up. He then lost sight of Fred for a little while, but then he heard I think ". -" which is "E T" while searching for him.
He found Fred by the bench, putting a book in a chest under the dirt and pretended to act normal, Fred essentially told him to leave and come back so he did, and found this book in the chest that he's been unable to decipher so far (wpshuudu 1rp qux). The book just changed in his inventory, showing a message with a "Tomorrow".
Tubbo and Fit took Pac to the elevator shaft to tell him about the book he had received from Fred. Pac told him about how Walter Bob had been in a similar situation and that he could befriend Fred. Pac even offered for Tubbo to bring Fred to Ramón's Barbershop so they could give him a makeover but Tubbo declined.
As the set time came, Tubbo waited anxiously for Fred's arrival at his house. Fit came over just to check on him and wish him luck, telling him that Tubbo could count on him if he needed backup before leaving him. Tubbo left the majority of his things in a chest and then warped to spawn to see if he could find Fred. He didn't find anything at the bench where Fred had left him a message previously. After looking through Fred's clipboard he found out that Fred was likely in charge of the "yellow hat" workers and he had written up BadBoyHalo for coming to him in a threatening manner. Tubbo returned to Tubhaus to see if Fred had come to him, only getting more and more jumpy and nervous as time went on. He found a book detailing a specific time and location for the two to meet, saying to tell no one.
When he was at the specified location and time, he came across Slimecicle by accident, diverting his attention for a few minutes before Fit and Roier also joined them. Tubbo found that Roier, Charlie and himself had books but Fit did not. After convincing Fit to leave so they could talk freely, the three remaining book holders began discussing their information together. Eventually they figured out that they each had one coordinate to make the place they needed to go. They found Fred under the wall. He seemed very on edge, pulling out a gun and shooting them at some points before taking them through a tunnel in the wall and telling them to be quiet. After leading them through the tunnel and passing by a ladder, Fred told them they had to go alone. They found themselves in a massive labyrinth made of stone with various mobs within it's walls. They kept catching glimpses of Fred leading them through the maze to a button and a Federation door then to something like a Federation hub.Tubbo wrote a letter to Fred and left it at their bench, telling him how the letters were the best part of his day.

Tubbo's first mission of the day was checking up on Fred's post box. As soon as he approached he noticed the light was on indicating a new letter. When he opened the box he found an azure bluet and wondered what it meant in flower language, after reading Fred's book and a quick google search he found it meant purity, innocence and grace. Tubbo took this to mean Fred had taken interest in him, possibly a romantic interest.

After this he went to find a flower for Fred, eventually landing on a daffodil which represents hope, preservation and transformation. Tubbo specifically liked how it signified hope and so left it with the letter in the chest for Fred.
He then went to the Art Museum and took a look at all the art before returning home again. After spending some time here, Fred came over to say, "good morning Mr. Tubbo! Your base is lovely. How long you've been working on it?
My presence disturbs you?" Tubbo was delighted to see him and assured Fred that his presence was a welcome one. Straight away he showed him his avocado toast factory to which Fred responded "This is one of the best machines I've ever seen. Is it hazard free?", while he didn't know for sure Tubbo told him that it was fairly free of hazards. Fred told him that the purpose of today's visit was to conduct a survey on the island resident (him). Tubbo was very happy to be spending some one-on-one time with Fred, even claiming it was a date due to Fred giving him cranberry juice, counting it as Fred buying him a drink. When another worker showed up, a guard, Tubbo was very disappointed.

After signing the book for Fred he showed them the hole. The two workers looked almost in disbelief at the complete erasure of multiple chunks of the world, Fred asking why he had decided on such a big hole. Fred asked if they could further investigate his base for the report and Tubbo obliged. Fred walked over to the tree factory and after seeing this Fred asked if he had any more locations he should be aware of such as underground bases or secret rooms. After Tubbo answered no, Fred gave him a book saying:

While on page two of the book, Tubbo turned around and saw Fit and Pac behind him. They had clearly both heard what he had recently been saying while typing up his letter. He asked their advice on what to do since he suspected Fred of being an older man, Fit told him to get away from that situation. Tubbo told them about the flower meaning purity and love and when Pac asked what the word purity meant, Fit told him it meant someone who hadn't had sex. This grossed Tubbo out so he kicked them out of his letter post.
Once he had finished the letter, Tubbo left it with a daisy which signifies new beginnings and cheerfulness. He then re-joined Fit and Pac who walked him over to spawn. At spawn he met Bagi who greeted him with a hit from her frying pan. Tubbo told her about his situation with Fred where he may have been accidentally flirting with a 50 year old but before he could get any advice, Fred appeared. Tubbo greeted him warmly but was somewhat nervous. Pac and Fit soon joined them at spawn and Tubbo asked Fit to subtly ask how old Fred is. Fred replied that it was a little personal. While talking to Fred, Cellbit came over and Tubbo posed the same question to him, asking for advice on what he should do. Cellbit took him off to one side and asked if he thought the person was creepy and Tubbo said no but pointed out the age difference. Cellbit agreed that the age gap made it odd before they re-joined the group. While talking with Bagi, Fred and Cellbit, Bagi told Fred he was really cute. Tubbo did not respond well to this and started hitting her, saying "WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FRIENDS" before Bagi said "OH YOU LOVE FRED" which greatly embarrassed Tubbo.
Fred told the group (which now included Etoiles and Phil) that something paranormal had seemingly been going on and lead them all to the train station and gave them a book saying good luck before leaving.Tubbo's first course of action was to go and check if Fred had left a letter for him. He saw that Fred had left him a book, but he hadn't taken the nether star or oxeye daisy which Tubbo had left him as a gift.

Tubbo was distraught after learning that Fred did not reciprocate his feelings and knowing that Fred wasn't seeking any form of romantic relationship. The fact that Fred had addressed him as "Mr. Tubbo" instead of the usual "Dear Tubbo" and signed the book with his legal name "WA02" left him feeling upset that Fred was seemingly being cold towards him.

(Aypierre's pov)Aypierre put on a mask and is using a voice modifier to meet with Fred (he plans to kidnap him to interrogate him). Apparently, he found a surgery report written about him, and the author was Fred. They did something to him because they were trying to get some information and he almost died. Part of the document was blocked, so he wanted to know what the blocked parts were.
Pierre is able to successfully kidnap Fred, and starts questioning him about the report. Pierre told Fred that he knew about his relationship with Tubbo. Fred told Pierre that they aren't lovers and that Tubbo had nothing to do with their situation, and pleads to Pierre to not hurt him. He also tells him that there's information that can't be revealed otherwise it can have severe consequences. He tells Pierre that the report was written for good purposes. Fred also told AyPierre that Cucurucho has a special place in his heart for him.
Pierre showed Fred some photoshopped images of WB011 (Ron) with Tubbo. He then left when a guard came to save Fred, making Pierre escape.After completing some system upgrading he went over to Fred's letterbox to see if he had left anything. Fred had left a white anemone, symbolising sencerity, dedication and appreciation, and a book:

After listening to the song, Tubbo began stressing about what song to send back. He thought that because Fred had sent him such a good song, he also needed to send back a perfect song in return. He settled on September Told Me by Juice because it was very straightforward with it's lyrics and had a good instrumental. Now that he had identified what song to send, he began contemplating what to say. He thought of the possibility that Fred was a villain but quickly dismissed it, claiming that he would become a villain too. He thought it would be easy to become one since he was well aware that most of the server had some sort of grievance with him- with the exception of the morning crew.

On December 7th, Fred was found alive and well. He was reunited with Tubbo. When Tubbo told Fred he now had a daughter (Sunny), Fred asked if he had been with someone else, showing their feelings were possibly romantic. The reunion was sweet and both were very pleased to see each other again. Fred returned to the spawn area and there he was found and went back to work. Befpre they went back, Fred gave Tubbo a letter called "Last Letter".

I took some time to sort my thoughts now that am no longer in that cell of his.
I have also been told to return to my workplace in an instant. I am not sure what awaits me there.

Fred arrived at Tubhaus to speak with Tubbo, regarding the previous book they had given Tubbo, as he misread the contents of it. Fred asked Tubbo how someone as clever as him couldn't understand the message, that being Fred asking Tubbo on a date.
Tubbo defended his misreading, as Fred had titled the book "Last Letter," and Fred also wrote that they would seek him out. Which never happened. Fred said how he thought that Tubbo didn't want to see them and that he was busy. When Sunny asked if that means he's not here for the tea party, Fred also said that Sunny wanted him to be there.
Fred said that they could leave if their presence bothered Tubbo and Sunny, to which Tubbo said no, and that they could do something together, even with Sunny.
Fred asked if Tubbo would accept the date this time, which Tubbo did. Tubbo asked when Fred would like to do this and before Fred could answer, Sunny wrote a sign saying she would leave the two alone. Then Fred asked if they might want to have the date now. To which Tubbo answered yes.
Tubbo began flirting with Fred, always outdone by Fred, when Tubbo showed him all the factories, Fred complimented how smart Tubbo was. During the tour they talked about food and Fred suggested a cooking date for another time.
When Tubbo showed Fred the potato farm, Fred took pictures of Tubbo and gave them to Tubbo. Wondering where to go now, Tubbo took Fred via warpplate to a Mooshroom Island, where they sat down in front of a small cave and talked.
Tubbo asked Fred if he had a favorite mineral and Fred said amethyst is beautiful. Fred also apologized for not contacting Tubbo that often, and Tubbo said that he understood that Fred is very busy with work. Tubbo said that his favorite mineral was lapis because it was so blue and Fred asked if it was as blue as Tubbo's eyes. Tubbo asked if they were really blue, and that he didn't often look at them in the mirror, which Fred told him to do because they were beautiful. Tubbo asked Fred what color their eyes were, and Fred said brown. Tubbo said that brown is a cute eye color.
Fred said how Tubbo was the reason Fred's life is the way it is, and that when Fred met Tubbo, their lives made a 180° turn, but in a good way.
Roses fell on them and Tubbo said that he had flowers for Fred, then Tubbo asked Fred what their favorite movie was, to which Fred replied with the Goofy movie.
Fred then gave Tubbo a rose and Tubbo mentioned how he still has Fred's flower from a little bit ago, and Fred said that he still has a flower from Tubbo in their office.
Tubbo said how he doesn't understand this floundering between the lines and Fred said how he totally understands that, and he wrote how he feels about Tubbo. Tubbo said that if he's honest, he also has feelings for Fred. Tubbo asked if Fred would visit Tubbo again that evening, whereupon Fred gave Tubbo a book with an excited scream. Fred said that he liked this plan and that they could probably do it.
Fred said it's cute that Tubbo talks so much when he's nervous. Fred told Tubbo that they would see each other later and went to their workplace.
The second date later that night did not happen live, but it is said to have happened off stream.
