Summary
The Slab Block is a Block used for building off the sides of objects. It snaps to Platform Blocks and other Slab Blocks, as well as Terrain.
Description
The Slab Block looks similar to the Platform Block, with the exception that it does not have a wall mount. It sports a grey color similar to the color of other structures and the terrain.
Tactics
The Slab Block is best used for quick and cheap bridges, and it comes in super handy for patching up annoying holes in the Mainland. Because of its minuscule price, if paired up with a Platform Block, you can very easily and quickly create small and unnoticeable bridges.
Slab Blocks are very weak. Any kind of explosive weapon will be able to do considerable damage to them. The Artillery will be able to destroy it with a direct hit. Due to this, slab blocks have more of a cosmetic use.
As of April 27th, 2022, slab blocks can be used to patch up holes in the mainland terrain: the block will snap to the terrain. This can prevent you from falling through the mainland and into the Iridium Ocean
One might cover their Hover Barge in Slab Blocks and Platform Blocks to act as shields against anti-personnel weapons or expand the space on the Barge, yet their weakness does not make this very optimal.
Slab blocks are often used to cover up well pump spots to prevent the enemy from basing.
