Summary
The Ladder Block is a tall block that features a ladder on all 4 of its sides. When built, ladder blocks will snap to other instances of itself, so that long chains of them can be constructed with ease.
Usage
Ladder blocks are best used when a structure must raised to a higher altitude, a player must make an ascent quickly, or both. Examples of this include: creating a Skybase; raising a Transceiver (possibly outside the effect of a Shield) so that it can transmit more effectively; and simply being used to overcome a tall obstacle quickly, such as a Spire.
An alternative that may be used to increase a player's altitude quickly is the Boost Pad.
