The Light Post is a cheap object that emits light, much like the Light Source. However, instead of being powered by a battery like the Light Source, the Light Post requires iridium input to be turned on. On the other hand, it provides much more light and can be turned on and off. Because of its relatively low cost and iridium usage, it is mainly used to illuminate larger bases.
