Tomas is a tertiary villain and character in Dragon Quest X.

Biography

Expected to be next hero, Tomas was trained since a child to take this role, but when Demon Marshal Zerudorado attacked Grand Zetannia, Tomas ended up killed while protecting his beloved sister, Anlucia, who had awakened as the actual hero; this left Anlucia traumatized by the event, and developed amnesia out of grief as a result. From beyond the grave, the spirit of Tomas helped the Hero make Anlucia recover her sealed away memories.

Later on however, Tomas's body was stolen from his grave, and was resurrected by the Great Demon King Maldragora as an evil hero, aiding the dark ruler in his plan and battling Anlucia herself in the Abyss Gate. But, when Maldragora was weakened due to his fight with Anlucia and the Hero, Tomas regained his free will, and stalled Maldragora long enough for Anlucia to deal the finishing blow, although Tomas himself, who was already on the verge to pass away for good, also received the attack; he then died once again, this time at peace in the arms of Anlucia.
