Biography
Originally the first-born son of his mother Goddess Luciana, he was once one of the benevolent patron deities of Astoltia, protecting the race of mortals he created, the Dragons. Unfortunately, following his mother's disappearance, his pride and belief that "the strong should lead the weak" got the better of him, leading him astray by trying to make the other races submit to the Dragons, though his family hampered him when he tried to conquer Rendacia to spite his younger brother, Grand Zenus, of who he was jealous for the love he received from Luciana. In his anger and unwilling to admit defeat, he made the foolish decision to ask aid from his mother's mortal enemy, Jagonuba, ending up irredeemably corrupted by his evil demonic miasma, and thusly unforgivably betraying his siblings; only after many millennia of war, in which most of his siblings save for Grand Zenus, lost their bodies, Nadraga was finally sealed away. He is the creator of the Divine Beast Prify.

Trivia
- Nadraga is similar to Rhapthorne from Dragon Quest VIII. Both are villains that were sealed away, both wield specters during their fights, and have very big final forms.
- However, Rhapthorne was sealed away in the Godbird Sceptre and just needed the 7 Sages' heirs to be dead in order to be free, while Nadraga's unsealing was much more complex, as he needed to be freed by the reunification of the 5 regions of Nagaland, the Creator's core, the powers of the Vessels of the other patron gods and Estelle as a host for himself.
- The Hero going inside the Nadraga decoy body to fight him is similar to Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Kid Icarus: Uprising. However, the inside is strangely more peaceful, with dark clouds looming over the horizon.
- Nadraga is the 2nd Dragon Quest villain to succeed in a goal. The other 2 were Rhapthorne and Mordegon.
- Nadraga's design is a combination of Rhapthorne and Cell, the latter from Dragon Ball Z.
- Nadraga is the first final boss to not belong to the ??? family, belonging to the Dragon family instead. The second is Kyronos, who belongs to the Material family, albeit only in his first forme not his final, while the third is Jia Red Genos who entirely belongs to the aforementioned family in both of his forms.
- Nadraga was originally going to fight the Dark Deity Daviyaga, his dark counterpart created by Jagonuba, but due to siding with him, Daviyaga became instead Nadraga's bodyguard.
