Saria is a character in Dragon Quest X. She is a Wetling from 300 years ago, who sealed herself in a time-suspended state with the Song of the Moment in order to contain the monster Tyrant Basagrande, who attacked the Wenna Islands. Eventually, thanks to the help of the modern day Prince Odisu and the schemes of the petty criminal Cathlan, she was freed from her imprisonment, and Basagrande was destroyed for good.

  • The first proper queen of Verinard, Aria, hated wearing footwear; to honor said habit, the women of the Verinard's royal family would also, up to 300 years ago, go bare footed, before the tradition was lost to time.
