"A horror game involving doors."
- The current description of the game.
DOORS 👁️ is a popular multiplayer Roblox horror game inspired by Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, nicorocks5555's Rooms and Spelunky developed by Lightning Splash and co-developed by RediblesQW. It is centralized around traveling through rooms with various entities encountered along the way, most attempting to kill the player. Development began in late 2020 and the game was released on August 10, 2022.
Overview
In DOORS, one can play solo or with a team of 2-4 players (the range can be increased to 2–50 with personal elevators, however it's not recommended by developers as hiding spots are not guaranteed for all ) exploring various rooms in a haunted hotel, and a mineshaft. The objective of the game is to reach the end of the current floor by surviving various rooms without dying to the entities that inhabit them. Players may also find items during their run that can be used to aid the user and their group, with different items rotating throughout each new door. Scroll down to see the entities you may encounter.

DOORS has various entities that the player(s) can encounter throughout the game. Each entity has a unique method of attacking the player. Whilst not every entity will kill them, hostile ones have their own uniquely terrifying jumpscare. Scroll down to see them.
Items

Throughout DOORS, players will encounter various items within containers that are littered throughout the various rooms and hallways to be used at their disposal. The most common of these items include the lighter, flashlight, lockpick and vitamins. Players can also choose to buy said items in shops in the elevator at the start of the run, or in the Jeff Shop in the middle of the run. Items can also be dropped; drop them by clicking X while holding the item on PC, holding the item icon on mobile, or clicking the associated button on console.

Trivia
- DOORS has lore, but it is being revealed very slowly.[1][2]
- DOORS used to be rated Minimal (All Ages) but it was later rated Mild. (+9)
- DOORS is the latest and most popular project published under the LSPLASH Roblox group, the second being Ragdoll Universe and the third is Vocab Havoc.
- The first sneak peek of the game (that is currently accessible) was posted on July 15, 2021.[3]
- DOORS is the 3rd fastest ROBLOX game to reach 1 billion visits (3 months and 2 days, while Blade Ball is the fastest and Piggy is second)
- DOORS is unlikely to have VR support because it would delay development.[4][5]
- DOORS has 7 official pieces of Makeship merchandise, which are the Screech, Seek, El Goblino, Figure, Giggle, Grumble and Gloombats Plushies, along with 3 YouTooz figurines, which are the Seek, Figure and El Goblino Figurines.
- DOORS has a crossover with PhatMojo to release 11 entity related minifigures in a series 1 set, which are the Figure, Seek, Glitch, Halt, Eyes, Jack, Rush, Ambush, Screech, El Goblino, and an exclusive Figure with a glowing build minifigures. PhatMojo also made 4 DOORS entity related plushies, which are the Seek, Screech, Figure, and an exclusive El Goblino plush.
- DOORS has only had one religious seasonal event, 2024 Halloween Event, if you exclude the 2023, 2024 and 2025 April Fools Events.
- However, Redibles has expressed interest in doing a Christmas event that will likely include entities wearing Santa hats and changing the rain to snow.[6]
- LSPLASH has stated that adding holiday themed updates is not a good idea, as it wouldn't really fit into the lore, but has expressed a possibility. This is ironic, since there have so far been three April Fools updates and a Halloween update (that are non-canon).[7]
- It is unlikely that there will be a difficulty selection, likely due to the upcoming floors increasing in difficulty.[8][9]
- There was eventually a 'SUPER HARD MODE' floor added, however, it is a joke update that was added and is considered to be non-canon.
- The Modifiers may work as a difficulty selection, though not a conventional one, as it has way more control than a conventional difficulty selection.
- There will be optional challenges in the future.[10][11]
- These optional challenges may have been the modifiers that were added.
- DOORS will supposedly never include blood.[12]
- Despite this, multiple other aspects in-game seem to be connected to blood:
- Figure has an unseen decal on its teeth called "Blood". It seems the only reason that it's not visible in-game is due to the image being content deleted, as it has a transparency setting that would still make it visible otherwise.
- The "blood room" events that Jack can cause still exist, although it's unknown if the red effect created by this event is meant to be actual blood, as the name for the event is unofficial.
- A-60, however, has a particle that originates from the original latter's fourth face, which does originate from gore. It seems to not be an edited version of it; instead, it's drawn by hand.
- Dupe's room seen when Crucified contains bloodish moving walls, human bones and veins.
- All the entities shown on the Icons include Seek (Original), Dupe (Hotel+ Icon, Modifiers, Regular), Jeff the Killer (2023 April Fools Event), the Lookman (The Backdoor update, Lobby update), Drakobloxxer (2024 April Fools Event), Gloombats (Floor 2), Glitch (Old Content Update, Content Update), and Rush (Old Post Content Update, Post Content Update).
- All the entities shown on the Thumbnails include Rush (1st Thumbnail, Old First Thumbnail, 20th Thumbnail, and 24th Thumbnail), Jeff The Killer (9th Thumbnail), Lookman (11th Thumbnail and 12th Thumbnail), the Drakobloxxer (13th Thumbnail), Queen Grumble (18th Thumbnail), and Seek (19th Thumbnail, and 25th Thumbnail)
- Ghostly Wowzers didn't expect DOORS to get too popular.[13]
- Ghostly Wowzers has expressed interest into a cat or cat-themed entity being added into the game.[14]
- Dynamic face support won't be added because it messes with the systems in DOORS. [15]
- DOORS originally wasn't going to have a 1-year anniversary update to prioritize working on more updates. [16]
- However, the modifiers update was released on August 26, 2023, celebrating the 1 year anniversary of DOORS, likely for the fans to have a minor update to distract themselves.
- The Mines update could have been the 2 year anniversary of DOORS.
- In DOORS, the players in the Lobby have a custom walking animation.
- DOORS doesn't have many visual cues because LSPLASH wants to focus on audio cues.[17]
- DOORS has much inspiration from UNDERTALE, another video game.
- The Achievement for using a Crucifix on A-90 uses one of Sans's quotes, "so imagine a blue stop sign instead".
- The Elevator jam is based off of UNDERTALE OST 64, named "Core Approach", as the audio from 1-7 seconds in sounds almost exactly like the Elevator Jam.
- DOORS has had 4 holiday themed updates, being the 2023 April Fools Event, 2024 April Fools Event, 2024 Halloween Event (2024 Trick or Treat) and 2025 April Fools Event.
- DOORS has had 4 collaborations with other Roblox games such as the Pls Donate Collab, Tower Heroes Collab, the Untitled Tag Game Collab, and the Tales Of Tanorio Collab.
- DOORS has been in 3 different Roblox events, The Hunt: First Edition, The Haunt and The Hunt: Mega Final.
- DOORS was invited to participate in The Classic but turned down the offer to work on The Mines, however they added Retro Mode as compensation.[citation needed]
- When a friend invites a player to DOORS, DOORS is referred to as “get ready to slumberrrr!” in the invite notification.
- The number 13 shows up a lot in DOORS. This is most likely because 13 is considered to be an unlucky number in real life.
- Door 13 is shown in the regular DOORS Thumbnail.
- Door 13 is shown at the start of the Doors teaser trailer.
- Door 13 is the door LSPLASH opens in the Hotel+ teaser trailer showcasing Dupe.
- Door 13 is when Dread used to spawn after waiting 60 minutes, prior to its revamp in the Floor 2 Update.
- Door 113 is shown in the Floor 2 icon and in default icon with Dupe.
- Door 113 is shown at the start of the Floor 2 trailer.
- 13 is the number of the Room Key held by Seek in the "Hotel Hell" achievement icon.
- 13 is the number of the Dupe door in the "Wrong Room" achievement icon.
- 13 seconds is on the lever for the Hunt icon.
- Most of the entity encounters usually start around door 13 in The Hotel, and door 113 in The Mines.
- While in a run, certain events will be printed in the developer console.
- Opening a labeled door will print out “Sent signal!” and “sent signal to open door”
- Entering a Hiding spot will print “doing the tween stuff nil”
- Any action that stops entities such as Eyes or the Lookman from attacking will print “STOP NOW”
- Climbing a Ladder prints “i am a ladder!”
- When Dread or Haste spawn it'll print out “erm.. hello bro”
- Reseting the clock will sometimes print “loop for clock was broken”
- Hide being active will print out “figure check: false”. However, if Figure is present it'll print “figure check: true”
- When a player dies, “uhh.. friend.” will be printed along with “‘target’ ‘target’ false”
- Dying to a Firedamp leak by suffocation will print out “oh.… oh no.”
- Whenever a player is teleported somewhere, “client teleporting” is printed.
- An action being executed on the Admin Panel will print out “Button Clicked Command” and “Ran Command “Action’s name”, sent data: table: ”
- When The Dam loads in, it’ll print out “i am seek flood.” It is also printed when Seek starts to flood The Dam.
- Before the Hotel + update, playing the heartbeat minigame with Figure would constantly print “connected heartbeat connections”
- Also before the update, when finishing the Hotel “damn daniel, ar ar ar” would be printed as a warning.
- Starting the transition to the minecart Seek chase in the mines will print “I am minecarting! so cool!”
- DOORS, the experience, is divided in 6 places (including the main one).
- The main place: Used for the Lobby.
- DOORS LOBBY VOICE: Used for the Lobby that requires Roblox voice chat.
- DOORS (GAME): Used for every Floor and Sub-Floor (The Hotel, The Mines, The Backdoor, The Rooms, Retro Mode) (excluding the ones that use a different version of the game).
- DOORS: APRIL FOOLS 2023: Used for The Hotel with the SUPER HARD MODE!!! modifier (it uses the build previous to The Modifiers Update).
- DOORS: BEFORE HOTEL+: Used for The Hotel with the Hotel- modifier (it uses a build previous to The Hotel+ Update, exactly the August 22, 2022 (#2) patch).[18]
- DOORS: RANKED: Used for RANKED MODE (it uses a future build of the current game).
- There is a private experience where the developers test DOORS, before making the changes in the actual experience, named "🛠️🛠️🛠️ D TESTING".
- While there won't be a direct sequel to DOORS, there is a potential for other games to be set in the same general universe as it.[19]
