Obama Bird is a non-canon parody of the 44th president of the United States Barack Obama. His only appearance was in April of 2014 when the Angry Birds Twitter posted an image of a commissioned portrait of the former president and his family in the Angry Birds art style jumping on a US Flag patterned trampoline.[1] The post didn't get much interaction until it was rediscovered in early 2022.
Trivia
The Obama Bird was first seen on a MAD Magazine cover in January of 2014 when the NSA controversy was in the public eye. However this appearance was not licensed by Rovio thus is unofficial.
During his second term of presidency, Obama wasn't allowed to have mobile games on his phone, including Angry Birds due to potential security issues.[2]
In 2014, Rovio was invited to the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House by the Obamas.[3]
