The Sinhung (신흥/新興, meaning "rise") is a North Korean cavalry/amphibious tank that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon. It is a converted version of the VTT-323 armored personnel carrier.
History
Sinhung was the first locally made North Korean Tank first made in the late 1970s to early 1980s. These tanks were based on the hull of Chinese VTT-323 armored personnel carrier. These were used to provide amphibious fire support due to South Korea many rivers. This tank provided the switch from licensed production of Soviet/Chinese armored vehicle to production of local designs.
