The MAW (Medium Anti-tank Weapon) is a Canadian tank hunter team -in Red Dragon, a fire support team- that were first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle. Due to Canada not having any infantry ATGMs, they rely on this dedicated team wielding the Carl Gustav instead.
History
Militia replaced the 106mm Recoilless Rifle in their anti-tank platoon with Carl Gustav. The 4th Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group has one Carl Gustav in each infantry section while the Canadian based regular Infantry platoons has one Carl Gustav in the Infantry Platoon weapon squad. These were replaced by Eryx.

In Red Dragon, the MAW's role as Canada's ATGM-infantry force has been supplanted by the Highlanders. Instead this unit has been re-rolled as a Fire Support Squad.
