The M109 RCHA is an exported variant of the M109 howitzer for Canada in the Wargame series, it was first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle. In Wargame: Red Dragon M109 RCHA was renamed M109 R.C.H.A.

History

M109 entered Canadian service in 1968 with 76 vehicles in 1971. These were used in the 3rd Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery of 1st Canadian Brigade Group, 1st Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery of 4th Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group and of 5e Groupe-Brigade Mecanise du Canada's 5e Regiment d'Artillerie legere du Canada. Each of these regiments has 4 batteries using 24 M109.
