Miratrix, also known as Mira, is one of the two secondary antagonists in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive alongside Benglo. She is a ninja who works as right hand woman of Kamdor. She also briefly served as a love interest of Dax Lo, the Blue Overdrive Ranger.
She was portrayed by Ria Vandervis.
Biography
Early Life
Taking place earlier, Miratrix was caught for embezzling on the other planet and would get banned. However, she is already rescued by Kamdor and becoming his loyal henchman. When Miratrix arriving in earth, disguised as Mira to be false attacked by a monster, but Dax, the one man who quickly went to save her and becoming her boyfriend before getting tricked. After her rescue, Mira thanks to Dax and help him to finds the scrolls of Sword of Neptune during their lived-in mansion. She begins to spend time with Dax and nothing about his feelings, step by mentioned the Overdrive Rangers' exploring of the jewels. As Dax can't tell her, Mira promptly to revealing her true form Miratrix when she attempted to steal the fake scrolls.
Searching the Jewels of Corona Aurora
Upon her plans is being foiled, but due to her crafty, Miratrix is very fiercely by performance of her warfare with the twin swords as she wants to be a perilous warrior. She served under Kamdor while he is imprisoned to save her life. But for this, they begin to find the jewels of Corona Aurora and managing to destroy the Overdrive Rangers.
Miratrix arrived in St. Lucia to get Eye of the Sea that thought as the first jewel of Corona Aurora. She asked Kamdor to make a monster for her to accompany her in stealing the relic from the rangers. She stole the map to get the Eye of the Sea from Mack. But Rose got the map back from her after Rose battled Miratrix and her monster. But the rangers victory was not long enough because Miratrix stole Eye of the Sea from the rangers when the rangers confronted with Brownbeard about the relic. Miratrix was succeeded at stealing the Eye of the Sea from the rangers in St. Lucia. Miratrix and her monster go to San Angeles and for her satisfaction, she wants to use the relic to destroy the city. She uses the relic to power her monster up. But the rangers are managing to destroy her monster. Miratrix doesn't stole the relic back because she realized that relic was not the first jewel of Corona Aurora.
When Miratrix is training, Will arrived to meet her and attempting to strike up a protection, morphing into Back Ranger to fights her. Despite this, Will demorphing and then makes allied with Miratrix, which she orders him to find the only Thermal Bivalve Reticulating Laser in the universe to release Kamdor from his imprisonment. She also tricks him when he pretending to defect and upset about that she is found out for the deeds. Upon Will join the Rangers, Miratrix starting to follow the Hou-ou bird.
But the time, Will transforming into the Black Ranger and asked the other Rangers to find Miratrix, he would makes protested with Kamdor. While battling with the Rangers, Miratrix must help her master to have creation of the one creature Big Mouth Monster. Seemingly to sabotaged Kamdor and his plan, Will worked together with his teammates to fighting with the monster. After discovering the Hou-ou bird, Miratrix drop a scroll as the Rangers are successfully destroyed the monster.
She agreed to join with her master and happily that they succeeded. Soon in the next time, she follows Kamdor to finds an parchment located it when Moltor and Lava Lizards are at the woods. This happening is it, Miratrix arrived in the cave with Kamdor and they recognized that one of the symbols stands for hot, much to their understanding. After left their cave, she and her master are attacked by Scaletex and Lava Lizards and then normally to battles with them. When Dax and his teams are filming the movies, they noticed about that the villains rivaled with Lava Lizards and Scaletex which even time to morphing with fast, started up a battle.
The Overdrive Rangers goes to against Scaletex and Lava Lizards, Miratrix and Kamdor sees the Rangers with comforted, but they would undertake Scaletex and Lava Lizards where it's the struggle. Upon the Rangers fights the monsters, Dax went to chasing Miratrix and Kamdor through the cave, and they run away. Failed to pursue Miratrix and Kamdor, Dax is close behind them when Scaletex is also chases the ninjas, and thus, leads the cave collapse due to the rocks run falling and Scaletex is destroyed. Despite the upset, Dax gets out of the cave and continued filming.
He later filming the movie is battles the ninjas for while is hereabout of Miratrix and Kamdor. After noticing the ninjas in the film, Kamdor brainwashed them and made them their foot soldiers. Miratrix smirks happily after the ninjas was brainwashed by Kamdor. Miratrix and Kamdor with the ninjas and 2 new monsters are walking in the city without fear. They are joined against the Rangers with Moltor and his Lava Lizards. She kept battles with the rest of Rangers with Moltor, the Lava Lizards, and ninjas. With the help of the ninjas, Miratrix easily overpowers Rose. Dax fought off Kamdor while he managing to destroy the two monsters, having both Lava Lizards and Moltor are lose. As parchment gets knocked out of Kamdor's hands, Miratrix watching a parchment and tried to run over to handed it but end up catching by Dax. She and Kamdor are retreated because the spell over ninjas is gone.
However, upon Miratrix changed her new hairstyle, she and her master are meets the Fearcats and against them in jungle.
Continued to find the jewels, she disguising as Laura Hicks, a supporter of the officers of Mayor of San Angeles in order to give them Kamdor's fake medals to immobilized Tyzonn, the new Mercury Ranger. Miratrix tells the plan work perfectly to Kamdor. Tyzonn are immobilized in his mercury form by Miratrix. Miratrix laughed wickedly after she immobilizes him.
When the rangers are going to somewhere place to get the clue about the third jewel, Miratrix and Kamdor arrived and stop them. She summons magician hat and Kamdor turns it into a giant monster. The monster is destroyed by the rangers.
The rangers are found Blue Sapphire the third jewel of Corona Aurora. But the rangers don't know that they are spied by Miratrix. Miratrix smirks because its all according to her plan. She plans to let the rangers find Blue Sapphire and steal it in the right time after they found it. Upon her arrival in beach along with Kamdor, they faced off Will. Will use all of his abilities to fight and keep the Blue Sapphire from them. He uses Hovertex Cycle and Defender Vest but are not enough to defeat them. They defeat him and steal the blue sapphire from him. Miratrix smirks evilly after she steal the Blue Sapphire from Will and before she teleports away, she insults and thanks him for keeping the Blue Sapphire for her.
Miratrix and Kamdor loot and spread the terror in the museum in San Angeles when the monster attacked the humans with for the valuable treasures can be received, Miratrix worked with her master and the monster to fights the Rangers but is lose that forced to withdraw after the monster is destroyed. At the cave, she, her master, Fearcats, Flurious, Moltor, and the other villains are later pleasure to encountered with Thrax, a son of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd as well as nephew of Rito Revolto thought about that their plans of acquired of the Corona jewels worked out and the Power Rangers were be destroyed. They agree team up to form an evil alliance and fight with all the Rangers upon the legendary battle. With all villains fighting the rangers together, they easily defeat the rangers. Miratrix with the Chillers are easily overpowering Tyzonn. Even the alliance villains obliterating the rangers power after they cover an entire Earth with evil energy and broke their connection to the Morphin Grid. All villains are happy after they see the rangers despair. Miratrix smirks evilly and she with the other villains are wanting to destroy the ranger forever but Sentinel Knight appear in the nick of time and save the rangers.
After Retro Rangers come, destroying the rangers is not an easy task for the alliance villains. As result, Thrax wants to avenge his parents turned to goodness while he fights Adam, Overdrive Rangers, and the Retro Rangers. Miratrix and Kamdor are fighting against Kira and Ronny in this fight, but they lost to the yellow rangers. Thrax eventually to be killed in this battle by Adam and causing Miratrix, Kamdor, Flurious, Moltor, Fearcats, and the monsters are defeated and fled.
Miratrix arrived in Egypt. She spies the rangers in a relic shop. She overhears the information that is given by the shopkeeper to the rangers.
After that, Miratrix and Kamdor loots Pharaoh's tomb to get the tablet that can find the location of the fourth jewel. But the rangers arrived and Kamdor blast them. Miratrix and Kamdor retreated. Miratrix says goodbye to the rangers. But the rangers are not giving up. They chase Miratrix and Kamdor until the dessert and they have a fight. The tablet is passed to the rangers, Miratrix and to the rangers again. The rangers successfully get the tablet from them. The rangers blast them. Miratrix tells to Kamdor that they must get the tablet to get the location of the fourth jewel. But Kamdor tells her to dont worry because he knows another way to get it.
Miratrix and Kamdor are in the computer base. They set up "another way" to get the information of fourth jewel of Corona Aurora by infecting virus to the rangers system and Mack via a computer-based monster. They let the rangers destroy the monster to make the virus works. Thanks to the virus, they found the location of Star of Isis. The fourth jewel of Corona Aurora. Star of Isis is located at Florida Everglades. They arrived at the everglades. When they track the jewel, 5 rangers arrived to stop them. Kamdor makes 5 monsters to stop the rangers. Miratrix wants to continue tracking the jewel, but Kamdor wants to do it alone and ask her to help their monsters fights the rangers. Will chase Kamdor to prevent him get the jewel. The 4 rangers are completely overpowered by Miratrix and her 5 monsters. The rangers want to call the zords. But they are not responding because the virus still works. After Will has beaten by Kamdor and failed to prevent him get the Star of Isis, Will arrived to help the 4 rangers battled Miratrix and her 5 monsters. But he is not a match for Miratrix and lose to her with only a single kick from her. The 5 rangers are cornered by Miratrix and her 5 monsters. Miratrix smirks wickedly because she thinks it's the right time to finish off the rangers. But Mack arrived to prevent it happen. Miratrix mocks Mack because she thinks one more ranger is not enough to reverse the table. But Mack unleashes the Sentinel Sword and merge with him to become Red Sentinel Ranger. With the power of Red Sentinel Ranger, he easily destroys all Miratrix monsters. Miratrix wants to retreat but the rangers surround her to prevent her retreatment. But Kamdor with Star of Isis blast the rangers with Miratrix. Miratrix can dodge Kamdor's attack but not for the rangers. The rangers demorphed and the triumph for chasing the jewel looks comes to Miratrix and Kamdor again. They retreated with the jewel in their hands. But their triumph is not long because Ronny gets the jewel from them swiftly with her super speed ability.
Miratrix and Kamdor are find Sands of Silla. They found in the desert. But Tyzonn arrived to take Sands of Silla from them. Miratrix wants to fight him. But Kamdor refuse it because he wants to fight him to stretch his hands. Kamdor easily overpowers him and make him unconscious. Miratrix are happy because they get Sands of Silla and easily defeating Mercury Ranger. But Mig arrived with his super speed and steal Sands of Silla from her. Mig also blasts Miratrix and Kamdor before he retreated. Miratrix comes to the place when the rangers battle Fearcats. Flurious and Moltor also with them watching the rangers fight against Fearcats. Without Tyzonn, the rangers are losing against Fearcats. Miratrix and the other villains are not happy with Fearcats victory.
The rangers are not giving up. They still fight against Fearcats but the Fearcats still overpowering them. Miratrix realize that she underestimates the Fearcats. Even Mack wants to use suicide attack to destroy Fearcats together with him. But Tyzonn arrived and help the rangers fight the Fearcats. With Tyzonn, the rangers are easily destroying the Fearcats. Miratrix glad because Fearcats are no more.
Final Showdown
She continued to serve Kamdor until her betrayal, Miratrix accompanied him to seize the Octavian Chalice from the Rangers. They longways to fights the Rangers but instead has been major stirring.
Upon the Rangers traveled to Greece and spotted the Chalice, they are eventually to engage with Kamdor and Miratrix.
The Rangers protected the Chalice from the two villains, Miratrix went to fights Yellow Ranger in attempting to gets the Chalice. Miratrix takes the chalice from Yellow Ranger. However, she is suddenly attacked by Red Sentinel Ranger and she defeated by him. Miratrix failed and retreated with her master because the Rangers gets the Chalice again. Later, when Kamdor insulted to Miratrix and called her is a worthless, greedy, and underling, he had no times to aiding on her anymore. Despite loyal to her master and show kind to him, Miratrix decided to betray Kamdor and threatened him to kneel before her after she gets the Chalice. Miratrix tried to stop the Rangers' Chalice ceremony. Miratrix is successfully interrupts the rangers ceremony and knocked them out.
When she asked the Chalice to give her great powers, and so the Rangers learned that how Miratrix is fully interesting to her strength in positive, much to her terror. Thanks to its energies and becoming a powerful giant-owl monster after she absorbs the power of the Octavian Chalice, Miratrix also battling with the Rangers since she was more malicious than her master and the other villains. She wants to destroy the rangers. With the Chalice continuously gives her powers, she easily overpowers the BattleFleet Megazord and make her invincible. Tyzonn and Ronny are despair because the rangers are completely overpowered by Miratrix. And they can't defeat her because the Chalice gives the powers to her nonstop. They must break her connection with the Chalice to defeat her. Tyzonn have an idea to break Miratrix's connection to the Chalice. Tyzonn will open the spirit barrier that protect the chalice. But he can only make the portal opened in a few seconds. And Ronny takes the Chalice with her super speed.
While the two rangers prevent the Chalice, Miratrix is defeated by all the Rangers and eventually reverted back to her human form. On that way, the chalice turning into a golden plate as Kamdor was got it after he blasts the rangers. Upon becoming injured Miratrix proceeds to crawl on the ground and is attempted ask her master to help her. He then refused, Kamdor finally revealed that he actually trained Miratrix but in only using her as his pawn by proxy and what about she had done for nothing, much to her detest. She later imprisoned by Kamdor's Jewel of Darkness as punishment, not have time to escaped. It's unknown what happened to Miratrix although Flurious stated that she is possibly destroyed together with Kamdor or the jewel had hidden with her safety trapped inside forever.
Personality
Unlike her Sentai counterpart, Shizuka of the Wind, Miratrix is abusive, charismatic, dishonorable, scheme, paranoid, cruel, rebellious, enigmatic, manipulative, selfish, sadist, arrogant, murderous, insane, and underhand mastermind and she want to do anything to gets the Corona jewels and destroying the Power Rangers but since Kamdor released from his jewel, only into used her as his assistant.
She meets Dax at the first time to lure him into mansion that pretending as his love interest, snatch scrolls from him until she is tricked.
Miratrix is a very dangerous warrior. She easily overpowers all rangers. Even she easily overpowers Tyzonn in "Once a Ranger" and Will in "Things Not Said". The only ranger that can overpower her is Red Sentinel Ranger. With her single kick, she can crush a big rock and knock Will out. She is also strong enough to crush earth around her with her blade. With her blade, she can create a strong shockwave that can knock her opponent out. With her super jump and speed, she can easily dodge a blast.
A ninja who is very loyal to Kamdor, Miratrix is also a cunning mastermind and control freak who manipulating Will to serve both her and Kamdor where they go into attacked the Rangers. She will do anything to make her plan succeeded. She pretends to be Dax's girlfriend to steal the scrolls of Sword of Neptune. Even she hacks the rangers body twice. First when she disables Tyzonn with a fake medal and second with Kamdor, they caused Mack succumbed to virus to gets the information they need about the location of the fourth jewel. She sometimes let the rangers found the relic or the jewel and she steal it from them in the right time. For example, she lets the rangers found Blue Sapphire and steal it from Will when the other rangers are fighting Fearcats in the city.
Not only a cunning mastermind, but she is also a sadist. She often smirks or laughs when she sees the rangers or the other villains suffering. She enjoys their suffering and insult them. She taunts Moltor while the evil alliance is defeated by the Overdrive and legendary Rangers in "Once A Ranger" and Will after she and her master steals the blue sapphire from him in "One Gets Away".
Unable to reclaim the Octavian Chalice when the Rangers are taking for it, despite considered an equal for Kamdor, Miratrix knows that her master is hating her for being failures all the times in which she disappointed of him and would becoming powerful for herself when seized the chalice to against the Rangers. Although Ronny and Tyzonn stops her connection to the chalice, Miratrix is becomes weak like a coward and she sealed by Kamdor's jewel which is he originally trapped in.

Trivia
- She is the only villain to not have destroyed by the most Rangers, or even destroyed on-screen. But that way, she is trapped in the Jewel of Darkness by Kamdor, her final fate unclear following Kamdor's death.
- Miratrix imprisontment is ironic because she is imprisoned by a person who is freed by her from imprisontment. She is imprisoned by Kamdor after she is defeated by all rangers.
- Miratrix is the only main villain in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive that is not defeated by only one ranger in their last fight. Flurious, Moltor and Benglo are defeated by Mack separately in their last fight. Kamdor defeated by Will. Mig and Crazar defeated by Tyzonn. Miratrix defeated by all Overdrive Rangers after she grant her wish to become powerful with Octavian Chalice. Ronny and Tyzonn breaks her connection to the Chalice when the other rangers are fight against her.
- Miratrix sometimes uses only one blade in a fight. Sometimes she uses her left hand, sometimes she uses her right hand. Making her suspected as an ambidextrous
- Miratrix is the first female PR villain adapted from the original Super Sentai character to not have redeemed, the second being Poisandra from Power Rangers Dino Charge, and the third being Madame Odius from Power Rangers Ninja Steel.
- Her defeated or fate was similar with Doldora from Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman.
- Her monster form was used her Sentai counterpart Demon Bird instead of Super Shizuka.
