~ Koragg |
Koragg, also known as the Knight Wolf, was the brainwashed knight and wolf-themed being that served as the secondary antagonist of Power Rangers Mystic Force. He was originally Leanbow, the husband of Udonna and father of Nick Russell/Bowen, before he was brainwashed by Octomus the Master and became his servant.
He was voiced by Geoff Dolan who also voiced Omni a year earlier and later voiced Dai Shi two years later. The second Koragg was voiced by Firass Dirani.
Biography
Past

After the Morlocks were forced back into the Gate of the Underworld, Leanbow fought them back while Niella sealed the gate. Everyone assumed him to be dead, but he had actually managed to reach Octomus and seal him. However, before being sealed completely, the Master transformed Leanbow into his loyal servant, Koragg. Though without memories of his old life, he retained some of his past traits, namely his honor, which also made him completely loyal to Octomus. At one point, Koragg succeeded in taming the mighty horse, Catastros, who became his ally in later battles.
Mystic Force

After the seal on the Underworld is cracked, the Knight Wolf escapes through the gate and takes on his wife Udonna who he seems to recognize but manages to defeat her and take her Snow Staff, the main source of her power. He begins aiding in the battles with the Mystic Force Rangers but often clashes with Morticon who disagrees with his honorable methods. Koragg often calmly leaves his battles with the Rangers because he has no interest in defeating weaker opponents or due to some intervention. The Rangers beat him once, but they have to summon the power of the ancient Titans to unleash one incredible attack. After Morticon begin sseeking the Gatekeeper to open the gate to the Underworld, Necrolai asks for Koragg's help. Since helping would help the Master, he gives her some of the new dark power he’d been given by the Master so she can draw the Gatekeeper out by defeating the rangers. Koragg captures Udonna to ensure the Gatekeeper’s appearance, so Claire takes on the powers of her mother, the first Gatekeeper, and Koragg demands that she fight him to get Udonna back. She does and actually manages to prove somewhat of a challenge for the Knight Wolf, but he finally defeats her. Koragg begins using Claire to open the gate and Morticon manages to get out but, before he can open it completely, Nick arrives. The two battle and the Red Ranger manages to call on a burst of power to deliver a powerful strike to Koragg, breaking his sword in two. He admitts defeat and retreats but, after Morticon’s destruction, the Knight Wolf takes his sword and forges it into a new blade for himself.

After Imperious takes command, Koragg doesn’t get along with him at all due to Imperious’ more treacherous methods. At one point, the sorcerer challenges the Knight Wolf to give up his magic by claiming his skills as a warrior are becoming dulled. Koragg accepts, giving his magic to Imperious who grants it to Necrolai. Soon after this, Imperious frees the Barbarian Beasts which the Knight Wolf clearly isn’t happy about due to their dishonorable methods.

Planning to overthrow the master, Imperious commands Fightoe and 50-Below to take out Koragg but he survived and plots to get back at them. When Imperious uses Jenji to wish for a world without the Power Rangers, the Knight Wolf appears before the Rangers and realises what happened and advises them to go to the Tribunal of Magic to get the wish reversed. He brings them to Fire Heart who he has raised in that timeline, and they succeed in their quest. Koragg later confronts the Barbarian Beasts but, after the Rangers reveal their new Legend Warrior forms, he leaves the fight to them before later making it clear that they were no longer allies.

Later, Koragg reclaims his magic and fights the Rangers but Imperious puts a curse on their Megazord that weakens them, so he removes it and leaves. This development prompted Imperious to put Koragg on trial for treachery against the Master and eventually it is left to a challenge of combat. Whoever can slay the Solaris Knight will remain whereas the loser will be banished and the two go to fight Daggeron. When the Rangers interfere, Koragg and Imperious retreat and leave the final judgement on the Knight Wolf’s fate to the Master with the dark knight wagering his magic. He points out that his honor keeps him loyal while Imperious is fully evil and not as trustworthy, so the Master finally decides in Koragg's favor. However, the Knight Wolf began having memories of his life as Leanbow, which confuses him greatly. Later, Imperious comes up with a plan to use the rangers' Legend Warrior powers to revive the Master and Koragg goes to get it from them. As he fights them, he is joined by a chimera monster Imperious created from all the warriors Leanbow ever defeated. Though Koragg is not pleased with the tactic since a forbidden spell was used to create the monster, he sends them to the Underworld anyway. When Nick mentions the name Leanbow, the Knight Wolf starts to remember more and pointed out there is no honor in winning this way though Imperious doesn't care. When Udonna interferes, the Master attacks her and Koragg, finally remembering who he is, stops his attack, transforming back into Leanbow.

Leanbow proceeds to teleport himself, Udonna, and the Rangers out of the Underworld but Nick refuses to trust him, thinking it was a trick by Koragg. The knight explains to them how he had become the Knight Wolf and apologizes for what he has done. As Imperious' forces catch up with them, Leanbow transports Udonna back to Root Core and prepares to face them. However. the Master starts to extend his influence upon the knight again and he is captured by Necrolai as the Rangers fight the chimera of defeated warriors and she brings him back to the Master and he is transformed back into Koragg. He confronts the Phoenix Unizord as the Centaurus Wolf Megazord after it kills the Chimera, but they just end up defeating each other in these forms. At human size, they continue to battle as the other Rangers watch Koragg and Nick continues fighting and the dark knight says Leanbow was only a memory, eventually forcing the Red Ranger to demorph. Before he can kill Nick though, Udonna arrives and reveals that Nick is his son, allowing Leanbow to break free again. However, the Master begins to rise again so Leanbow uses a spell to restrain his family and the Rangers before engaging his enemy once again. In the battle, he seals away the monster and restores the Rangers' Legend Warrior powers but at the apparent cost of his own life.
After the Ten Terrors begin fighting the Rangers however, Sculpin go to the Lake of Lament and asks it to show him the Master. However, an image of Koragg appears with Leanbow's voice telling him that, despite wearing the Knight Wolf’s armor, he fights for good. Realizing that the Rules of Darkness need to be broken, whilst Megahorn is fighting the Power Rangers, he sends Black Lance to help. The leader of the Terrors then shows Leanbow the battle and, realizing that the Rangers are outmatched, he goes with Catastros to help them. After forming the Centaurus Wolf Megazord, the knight fights Black Lance and defeats his steeds and chariot then teleports both of them back to the Underworld. However, Necrolai finds Leanbow's location so Sculpin, Gekkor, and Matoombo confront and defeat him, so Sculpin strikes him down to retrieve the Master. With Leanbow in his Ancient Mystic Mode, Sculpin then opens a fissure in the ground which Leanbow falls into, but Udonna manages to find him and bring him back. He joins the Rangers in their fight against evil as the Wolf Warrior; a more powerful version of Koragg that easily kills Gekkor.
The Master later turns Nick into a new more powerful Koragg and ends up fighting Leanbow who helps his son Nick return to good and release the dark magic the Master put in him. Leanbow, with the help of his family and the other Rangers, eventually destroys the Master which prevents another Koragg from ever being created. Leanbow and his family all ride off together to visit Nick's adopted parents before later settling down.
Beast Morphers
Fourteen years after his purification, Koragg's Knight Saber is one of the many villain relics in Ryjack's collection that are acquired by Evox and his minions. Koragg is Scrozzle's choice during the villains' discussions until Roxy reminds everyone of Koragg's redemption so they abandon the idea.
Personality
Although mostly calm, Koragg was a ruthless and cold-hearted warrior that would crush anyone that stood in his way. He was highly loyal to The Master and will do anything in his power to impress him as well as bring him back. Despite all of this, Koragg was an honorable fighter and somewhat fair to his enemies as shown where he told Nick to pick up his sword after it got knocked away during their battle. When refusing to attack a foe he considered to be weaker, citing such an action as waste of his time and dishonorable, and as a result of his honor was completely loyal to the Master. Due to Koragg having a serious warrior-like personality, he was a battle-maniac who looks forward to fighting the Rangers, especially his main rival Nick, and Koragg allowed them to have time to get stronger so they could bring more satisfaction in Koragg's future battles. However, he often calmly left a fight of his accord or whenever outside circumstances intervened.
He has dislike for Necrolai as he calls her as a hag.
