Garmadon Propulsion Laboratories Tech, or GPL Tech, are minor antagonists of The LEGO Ninjago Movie animated film. They are a group of scientists employed by Lord Garmadon to design and build mechs for the Shark Army.

History

It' presumed that GPL Tech scientists had been designing vehicles for the Shark Army for a long time. After another failed attempt to conquer Ninjago City, they approached Garmadon with a new battle mech blueprint, Garma Mecha Man. He approved their idea and the mech was made, later helping the villain conquer Ninjago City, this time successfully. Later, GPL Tech spied on the Secret Ninja Force as they set off on a quest for the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon, prompting Garmadon to follow them.

Whereas the rest of the Shark Army members redeemed themselves at the end of the movie, it's unknown if the GPL Tech scientists did as well.
