The Hidden Boss (隠しボス; Kakushi Bosu) battles are found in Genso Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century.
Description
The hidden bosses do not show up as icons on the map.
In order to activate them you will first need to see a scene with Zephon where he will explain that there are some special monsters besides the Telluspharma. This will happen after the events at Zooe Tower.
Each boss will be near an unopened chest. Once you draw near, a battle will begin. You will have the option to fight or retreat. It is a good idea to have a save state before going near.
If you are struggling with any of them, check their affinities and make sure to use magic or arrows that counter that. You may also want to add affinities to your weapons and/or armor, or just strengthen them. Be sure to select a meal that will give you the best benefits when Dining as well.
All of the enemies will be level 70 or above. You can see detailed stats on each enemy's page.
