Rei is a new Pokémon Trainer and the male protagonist in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. He is one of the two main protagonists alongside Akari, and a member of the Galaxy Team.
Appearance
Rei is a young teenage boy who resembles Lucas with black/slate grey hair, matching slate grey eyes, and fair skin. He wears a red cap with a matching scarf around his neck and wears a navy uniform with the Galaxy Team emblem on both sleeves.
At the beginning of the game, he wears a white shirt and blue shorts.

Etymology
His name is based on the homophone of "ray" in English.
Biography
He was sent through a time-space portal by Arceus to Hisui. Laventon found him and let him join the Galaxy Team.
