Newmoon Island

Newmoon Island is a location introduced in Generation IV.

Description

Newmoon Island is a secret island east of Fullmoon Island, off the west coast of Sinnoh. Its layout is similar to that of Fullmoon Island.

To get to Newmoon Island, the player has to enter the Harbor Inn in the north-east corner of Canalave City, although entering it requires a Member Card, normally obtainable only through certain Nintendo distribution events. Inside, a man instructs the player to fall asleep in a bed, and by doing so, the player wakes up on Newmoon Island. Darkrai waits on the center of the island for the player to either catch or defeat. After the battle, the player wakes back up in the house.
