- For the deceased Matriach of the Mountain Dragons (Eridany's mother), see Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons.
Eridany[2] is the daughter of the late Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons and the next leader of their herd.
History
The Shape of Motion
Eridany was carried by the Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons within one of the latter's nursing pouches after she had been attacked by Nokt and Rox for her Crowns of Horns. Desperate to carry her daughter to safety, the Matriarch flew as far as she could before collapsing in the Kingdom of Madness. Following her mother's passing, Eridany cried out, leading to her discovery by the Ninja and Riyu, the latter of whom Eridany immediately recognized and reacted happily to seeing again.
The Ninja then vowed to return Eridany to her tribe, with Eridany riding atop Riyu's back as they flew in search of the Mountain Dragons' new home. After several hours of flying and searching, the group was attacked by Rapton and the Freebooters, who were intent on capturing Eridany to sell to the highest bidder. During the aerial battle, Rapton threatened Eridany with his sword's taser configuration but he and the Freebooters were driven away seconds later by the arrival of a group of Mountain Dragons. This group of Mountain Dragons then escorted the Ninja to their new home in the World Forest, where Eridany was reunited with her tribe.
