- This article is about the character. For the mini-series, see Wyldfyre (series).
Wyldfyre (nicknamed Wyfy by Roby[1]) is the Elemental Master of Heat, Kai's student, and Roby's girlfriend. She is a feral child raised by a tribe of Lava Dragons in the Lava Wastes. After coming to the Wyldness after mysteriously crash landing, Wyldfyre was raised by her Caregiver bot and Heatwave. Following the Merge, Wyldfyre assumed the role of the Elemental Master of Heat. When the Claws of Imperium managed to capture Heatwave, leading Wyldfyre to venture into Imperium. However, Wyldfyre herself was later captured. Lloyd later rescued Wyldfyre from Imperium Prison, but she initially attacked him, mistaking him for an oppressive Imperian. However, upon witnessing Lloyd's efforts to save her from the Imperium Guards, Wyldfyre formed an alliance with him. Together, they worked towards liberating the majority of dragons captured by the claws.
Later, she and Kai ventured into the Wyldness to retrieve the purple Dragon Core. However, they were ambushed by the Lava-Tides and Dorama and his stagehands. Fortunately, with Heatwave's help, they managed to escape and obtain the Dragon Core. To their dismay, they later realized that the Dragon Core they acquired was a counterfeit, and Dorama possessed the genuine one. In response, Wyldfyre, along with the other ninja, returned to Imperium to retrieve the Dragon Cores and joined the Resistance to thwart Beatrix. Following the MergeQuake Storm, Wyldfyre and Kai discovered that they possessed different elemental powers.
Around a year after joining the team, Wyldfyre accompanied them to the Cloud Kingdom, where they encounter Ras and the Wolf Clan, where a battle ensued, leaving Wyldfyre with a broken leg. Despite her injured leg, Wyldfyre stowed away aboard the Destiny's Bounty, eager to learn Spinjitzu and Rising Dragon, but Rontu told the former to rest her injuries and revealed to her that she is the master of Heat. During the others' training, Wyldfyre discovers Egalt is suffering from Wasting Sickness and was able to get him to open up before the Blood Moon arose, turning both dragons to stone. Returning to her home realm, Wyldfyre, along with Kai and Sora, attempted to infiltrate the ritual to bring back the Forbidden Five. They free the sacrifices using disguises to blend in. They manage to stop the ritual, but at the cost of her mentor, Kai, being sent to the Nether-Space. During her need to vent anger, Wyldfyre discovered three baby dragons and took them to their mother. She then returned to the Monastery of Spinjitzu and aspired to take on Kai's mantel as the Red Ninja.
When they learn that three Arc Dragons have been murdered, Wyldfyre and the ninja infiltrate the City of Temples to find the culprit. There, the ninja meet Roby, with whom Wyldfyre developed a relationship. During the tournament, Wyldfyre faced Cinder but lost, resulting in the loss of her Elemental Powers. After a few days, Wyldfyre joined the investigation of the Arc Dragons' deaths, only to learn that the the tournament was rigged by Bleckt. With the help of an Elemental Master named Zur, she manages to thwart Ras' plan. When the rest of the Forbidden Five were released, Wyldfyre and the ninja attempt to fight back. As Kai returned, Roby takes the seized powers from Nokt and restored them to their rightful owners, including Wyldfyre. The Forbidden Five then retreat, taking Ras with them, and Arin goes to rescue Ras, leaving them marooned in another realm after the destruction of the portal gate. Wyldfyre reunited with Kai, and she and Roby officially become a couple before Wyldfyre returns to the monastery.
Appearance
Wyldfyre has long red hair with most of it tied in a ponytail while leaving two bangs leading over the front of her shoulders.
Beforehand, Wyldfyre had her hair slightly unkempt with some parts of it tied into a bun by a crescent-shaped bone on her head, bushy eyebrows, and a burn scar on her left cheek. Her clothes consist of a celadon robe with maroon highlights over two shirts, one red and one orange, maroon pants, gray knee pads, and an orange cloth around her waist with both sides of her hips covered by a gray samurai armor's haidate, held together with a red rope tied around a bone. She gave her hair-bone to the baby Lava Dragons.
As a child, Wyldfyre's unkempt hair was slightly similar, but only went down to jaw length, and her face had no scar. Her clothes were also slightly similar, except her shirt had a patched up gray cloth around the lower right part, a cloth of the same color tied around the waist, a rope secured by itself, and sleeves that were short to expose her orange shirt that had patched-up cloths on both sleeves and her pants.
As a baby, Wyldfyre was simply wrapped in a small celadon blanket.
Personality
Wyldfyre has a hotheaded temper and very limited patience bred from a life raised in the wild. She would rather fight than use her head, even when she has no chance of winning and the odds are severely against her. She's also unintentionally disrespectful as she insulted Kai upon meeting him and seeing him use his powers for the first time. For all her flaws however, Wyldfyre's always willing to lay down her life and listen to reason if it means protecting Heatwave, the only real family she has. Before, he was the only being she cared about until she met the ninja. She learned to appreciate and care for them and show particular affection for her mentor Kai. When he disappeared into Nether Space she cried along side Nya really showing emotion that she cared for Kai. It was also an opportunity for her to get closer to other members of the team such as Nya. And many more times does she show empathy for characters in the show showing she can be caring even though most times she can seem insulting. She can also play pranks on others, which gets her into multiple dangers.

Good to know
A long time ago, Heatwave rescued and raised a child who survived a plane crash. The baby's name was Wyldfire.
A team
Wyldfire, the Elemental Master of Heat, and her dragon Heatwave have been separated for a long time. After the Merge, Dragon Hunters captured and imprisoned him. With Lloyd's help, Wyldfire frees her dragon again.
Wyldfyre
Wyldfyre is known for her impatience and a quite fiery temper. Throw a broken leg and a serious case of FOMO into the mix and this fire-spewing Elemental master of heat is NOT so happy. Can the ninja trust that this wild warrior will do what she’s told and rest up?
