Tenshouha (天照覇 lit. "Amaterasu/Heaven Shine Rule") is the technique Zero and Layer obtain after defeating Optic Sunflower in Mega Man X8. When used, Zero punches the ground, summoning a pillar of light-element laser that blasts straight down on enemies, which is the same as the attack "Earth Crush" used by Optic Sunflower. This is the only technique in Mega Man X8 that uses weapon energy. If Zero uses the Sigma Blade while performing this technique, the weapon energy used will be automatically reduced by 50%. This weapon has immense vertical reach but its horizontal reach is shorter than the Z-Saber itself.
This technique is Dark Mantis and Sigma's primary weakness.
