Bulb Yoshi

Bulb Yoshi is one of Yoshi's power ups in Super Mario Galaxy 2. To access this form, Yoshi has to eat a Bulb Berry. Upon doing so, Yoshi illuminates yellow, and Mario or Luigi can see and access passages that are otherwise invisible and intangible.

Unfortunately, this power up is only temporary. It also gradually runs out, with the light becoming smaller and dimmer over time. In order to prolong the effects, Yoshi will have to continue to consume Bulb Berries.

Trivia

• In New Super Mario Bros. U, there is a Baby Yoshi called Bulb Yoshi. It has a similar effect.
