Masikio is a male hare. He is a member of a drove of hares in the Pride Lands.
Biography
Early life
Masikio had a sister. The two lived in the Pride Lands with the rest of their drove.[1]
Saved by the Lion Guard

During a rainstorm, Masikio and his fellow hares were scared into their dens by the presence of a harrier hawk named Mpishi. However, the Lion Guard arrived, frightening her off.
The rain caused a mudslide, but Masikio was too frightened to leave his den. Bunga attempted to coerce the hares out. When they refused, he used his flatulence to drive them from the den. After the rescue, Masikio noticed that his sister was not among them. Kion braved the mudslide to rescue the hare, and Masikio had a delighted reunion with his sister.[1]
Terrorized by Shujaa

Shujaa the gorilla caused damage to the Pride Lands while trying to help the Lion Guard. His destruction included a cloud of dirt that buried Masikio and his fellow hares. Bunga came to their rescue, pulling Masikio out by his ears.[2]
Dhahabu's visit
Masikio was present when Dhahabu arrived at Pride Rock to discuss a water treaty with Simba.[3]
Physical appearance
Masikio is a moderately sized hare. He has reddish-brown fur, with a white chest, muzzle, and tail. He has sections of cream and tan on his face as well as dark fur on the tips of his ears. His eyes are black.[1]
Personality and traits
Masikio is skittish and easily frightened. However, once rescued, he is grateful to his rescuers.[1]

- Masikio was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.[4]
- Baker also voiced the baboon leader, the baby baboon, Mwevi, Mwizi, Nyeusi, Pim, and Tano.[4]
- The latter part of Masikio's name ("sikio") means "ear" in Swahili.[5]
