Clocker[1] is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Physical Appearance

Clockers are crow-like creatures with large, vermillion beaks as their only facial feature. They feature iridescent midnight purple plumage and a blue-gray underside, as well as two curved talons that allow them to easily carry whatever is in their grasp.
A variant of the normal Clocker, Red Clockers sport purple beaks, dark red plumage, and have gray undersides. Their talons remain similarly colored, and they also carry a gold clock with their beaks.
Behavior
Clockers are loyal, hard workers, eagerly snapping up their target into metal cages that they carry. If Kirby or Bandana Waddle Dee approach them, however, they will quickly flee the scene and leave their cargo behind.
Games
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Clockers are first seen by Car Mouth Kirby in Point of Arrival. Kirby observes them carrying Waddle Dees and flying away from an area ahead. Shortly after, Kirby arrives at the destroyed Waddle Dee Town and witnesses several Clockers capturing Waddle Dees and fleeing the scene with them. Three Clockers then ensnare Elfilin, who Kirby promptly rescues.
Throughout the rest of the game, Clockers are seen carrying Waddle Dees cages; single Waddle Dees are in silver cages held by a single Clocker, while trios of Waddle Dees at the end of stages are in gold cages held by three Clockers. If the captured Waddle Dee(s) has/have already been rescued, Star Coins appear in the cages instead. A flock of Clockers are also seen carrying King Dedede away after he captures Elfilin.
A single Clocker appears in the "Captured Waddle Dee", "Captured Roulette" and "Captured Elfilin" Gotcha Capsule figurines, and three appear in the "Captured Waddle Dees" one.
Kirby's Dream Buffet
Clockers appear as part of the "Captured Waddle Dees" Character Treat.
Related Quotes
“ | The name they are called is "Clocker." They are named for the color and caws of crows. In the overseas version, it is Clocker. They have limited combat abilities, but their main duty is scouting and transportation.” |

Etymology
Clocker's name is a combination of the Japanese word for "black," クロ/くろ/黒 (kuro), referencing its color normally; and the sound a crow makes, カー/かあ (kā), referencing the bird it resembles. While its English name contains the words "locker" and "clock," which could reference the cages they carry and the red variants having clocks, these are likely a coincidence.
Trivia
- Internally, Red Clockers are referred to as "CaptiveCageTimeLimit" and the alternative coloring texture is referred to as ""BirdTimeLimit".
