Dome Mouth is a Mouthful Mode in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Overview
Kirby stretches over a dome-shaped structure, allowing him to twist it and open the container underneath to unlock whatever content is inside, such as captured Waddle Dees or items.
More unusually, Kirby also uses this ability on both Fecto Elfilis and the first form of Chaos Elfilis when their health is almost depleted; the former is used to free Elfilin from Fecto Elfilis, and the latter is used to tear Chaos Elfilis's soul out of their body, setting off the final battle of the game. In both of these cases, Elfilis attempts to strike Kirby with their spear while he is using Mouthful Mode. Failure to complete the Mouthful Mode in time will result in Kirby being damaged by the spear and knocked off of Elfilis, causing them to regain some health and resume the fight.
