— Treant
|
The Treant is a large tree monster that is fought as a boss in Trial Forest.
Background
There is nothing else known about the Treant other than being part of the test to get into the Grand Chase.
Story
Trial Forest
Because the Trial Forest served as a dungeon for a brief tutorial in the game, the Treant neither had dialogue nor was mentioned in the dialogues.
Attacks
As part of the tutorial, the Treant is generally not a challenge to most players, even for players new to the game. His basic attacks consist of 2 swipes and throwing an apple if the player is far enough.
When the JUMP warning appears, the Treant will use a special attack afterward that immobilizes the player on the ground with vines. This can simply be avoided by jumping on the right timing. While it does mild damage, the vines leave the player vulnerable to a follow-up attack.
