Kamiki is the second boss fought in the two-part boss battle at the Kamiki's Castle, the first being Elena.

Background

Kamiki is a demon that was invoked by Kaze'aze from the slain Elder of the Violet Mage Guild, Elena.

Story

Kamiki's Castle

After Elena was defeated, Kaze'aze Lass appeared and revived her as Kamiki, transforming into a "Spirit of Rage" to take the Grand Chase to Hell and burn them there.

Attacks

The attacks Kamiki uses are mostly magic and is indicated by a large, rune-like glow on her as she prepares to unleash the skill:

• The black one is similar to Ryan's Soul Effect skill as Sentinel and releases black bolts in multiple directions that inflict 'curse' status.
• The light blue one rains lightning bolts over most sections of the field, usually on the platform where Kamiki stands. To be dodged, players must stand in between the strikes.
• The red one casts a firewall attack that goes out horizontally on the left and right of Kamiki.
• The blue one freezes any players too close to Kamiki and will often put the players in FATAL status.

Kamiki is also capable of summoning 4 Dark Anmon Scouts and she may also teleport at will but only when knocked down. As for melee attacks, Kamiki swings her weapons in a quick combo and she can send out air blades like Gaikoz.

Wicked Kamiki

Four of this version are fought in the Sanctum of Destruction, utterly more terrifying than before. The Wicked Kamiki has enhanced herself from the original and many of the elemental attacks have changed in this form:

• The black one no longer shoots curse bolts but rather a homing dark orb that causes 'bind' followed by a DoT effect. The number of orbs depends on how many players there are. Fortunately, the homing orbs can be destroyed by slices.
• The light blue one shoots out slow, small spark bolts in multiple directions after the rain of lightning bolts. If the spark bolts connect, it will cause a 'shock' effect that causes damage and paralysis every few seconds.
• The red one shoots four medium-sized red flame orbs diagonally to the side with two on each.
• The blue one has an AoE that seems to be slightly larger than the original.

Trivia

• Kamiki is the first demon character introduced in the game.
  • Ironically, she has wings alike to those from the angels instead.
    • Despite being a winged creature, Kamiki does not seem to use her wings and fly.
• Kamiki had a magic attack indicated by a yellow glow that gives her super armor thus she cannot be knocked down.
  • As of Season 3, Kamiki no longer uses this spell.
• There is a glitch where an Emergency Regen Potion is not consumed despite using it to cure the 'shock' effect in Wicked Kamiki's lightning attack.
• There are weapons designed after Kamiki.
  • Oddly enough, Kamiki has chakrams as weapons despite Elena using a staff.
