Dwarven King Arawn is the ruler of Thunder Hammer and ultimately the king of the Dwarves in Archimedia.

Background

There is nothing else known about Arawn other than his sovereignty in the Dwarven capital of Thunder Hammer.

Story

Thunder Hammer

As the Grand Chase attempted to clear their names, Arawn declined it with a challenge. Before doing so, he complimented that they were not without ability, seeing how they managed against his forces.

After they defeated him, his scouts reported that one of their cities was destroyed by the attacking demons while Mari explained her story. Arawn believed that there was no evidence of their stories, but agreed to let them go. However, he warned them that they would be watched so long as they remained in his land.

Kounat's Collapse

Arawn reappeared along with Gilberta to help hold off Veron and Drawl as the Grand Chase made their way to confront Ashtaroth.

In the sequel

Act 41.1: Disappearance of Mari

Mari's squad overheard the angry protestors calling for Arawn and the Council to wake up and cancel the meeting with dark elves who had no place in Thunder Hammer. Rin worried that the king must be under a lot of stress as the protests seemed to become worse by the day and Lime agreed that such things were the weight of the crown.

When Edel left to check on Mari who kept disappearing, Sieghart suggested that they ask Arawn for some toys Mari could disassemble so she would not have to leave the room so often.

Act 41.4: Arrest Them

After stopping Talin Elfbane, who was responsible for the protestors damaging the city, Rin urged everyone to subdue the man and hand him over to Arawn in the hopes that it would put an end to the rowdy protests, but Talin's group refused to back down and continued their fervent resistance.

Attacks

Arawn can use powerful hammer swings. He can also create 3 fire pillars on each side of him and can slam a golden lightning hammer directly on top of players, leaving a small DoT effect. When Arawn jumps, he produces a small shockwave toward those nearby.

Arawn has 2 Thunder Hammer Defenders guarding him and spawns any replacements when applicable. He is also summoned throughout Boss Gate in Archimedia.

• Arawn is known as Aron on the other servers.
  • It is also the name of Yamini's guardian in the Altar of Judgment.
• Arawn's design is based on a stereotypical depiction of a Viking in fictional media.
• Arawn has a pet counterpart called Darek.
