—Hermit explaining the Conqueror class.
The Conqueror is a combat physical class that was introduced in Fire Emblem Awakening.
Overview
In Awakening, the Conqueror class is the personal class of Walhart and is aptly named for his role as a warrior who embarks on a conquest to usurp control of Valm. It is similar to the Great Knight class but with higher Movement and more balanced stats. This version of the Conqueror class is capable of wielding swords, lances, and axes, and cannot be inherited by a Walhart-fathered Morgan.
The class reappears in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is an Overclass and functions as the promotion for the Hero class, making it exclusive to Alm. As the Overclass of Alm's Hero class, it functions very similarly, allowing him to wield swords and bows, but with much higher stat growths. The class also grants him the ability to use Bowrange +1, giving him additional attack range for his bows both offensively and as a counterattack.
The Conqueror class also makes an appearance in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, where it functions as a promotion for Chrom. The class offers superior offense and defensive capabilities compared to his base class of Lord.
