The Ochu (オチュー, Ochū?, lit. Otyugh), also known as Ocho or Ho-chu, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in the original Final Fantasy. Its appearance is usually that of a large plant with either two or four thorny arms and a ring of flower petals that somewhat resemble a skirt. It commonly uses Sleep and Poison-based attacks. While typically acting as the basis of its own family of enemies, it has on occasion appeared as a variant of the Malboro.
