The Blind Wolf (ブラインドウルフ, Buraindourufu?), also known as the Dark Wolf, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy V.

The Dark Wolf appears as an enemy exclusive to the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary releases, encountered in the deepest levels of Whisperwind Cove, specifically in the levels resembling the Cavern of Earth and the Cavern of Ice. It can inflict Poison with its attacks.
Final Fantasy V
The Blind Wolf appears as an enemy encountered in Castle Exdeath and the Interdimensional Rift. As its name implies, it is innately affliced with the Darkness status and its attacks will often miss, but it can inflict Darkness itself with its Tusk ability. It is susceptible to Level 3 Flare.

The Blind Wolf, also known as the Dark Wolf, appears as an enemy encountered in Fina's Psyche Badlands, Fina's Psyche Frontlines, Fina's Psyche Riverside, Fina's Psyche Battleground, Fina's Psyche Canyon, Grieving Knoll, Lordless Castle Interior, Klon Palisades, Lumfa Plains, Crystal Tower Entrance, and Crystal Way. It also appears during the events "A Promise Beyond Time," "Fate of the Dragoon," "Way of the Warrior," and "The White Sage and the Magic Cane."
Additionally, the Blind Wolf from Final Fantasy V appears as an enemy during the "Castle Exdeath" event. The generic Blind Wolf was originally localized as the Dark Wolf until the addition of the V version, when it was renamed to bring it in line with the latter.
